I have this phone, and i hate the predictive text! The touch screen technology is very good and useable however the predictive text technology is unbearable.

I need a mobile phone dictionary for my samsung star(GT-s 5230) mobile and I am not able to find it out ..
this is a java compatible mobile phone ,but it is not supporting any .jar file.
Could anyone please tell me any way so that I can download it and use it for my phone.

I have three slides for wallpaper, but when I press button ''menu'' I got only one page with folders ''messages'', ''contacts'', etc. and don't have other two pages with communication apps, and other apps which my friend's phone has... also, in widgets settings she can pick up more widgets than me...
is there any possibility that my phone was bought from other country by some mobile operator and then my seller removed settings which that operator made?? (a heard something about removing some widgets or replacing with operator's for advertising...) I'm wondering this because i gave a lot of money for it and I won't be happy if it is only a bad copy of s5230... I checked numbers inside phone, they are similar to my friend's, also mask of my phone is better than her...

I bought this mobile a week ago and i'm facing a problem.When i delete all the msgs from by inbox and sent the mobile starts storing the msgs in sim and one same msg keeps on coming constantly this hapeens till the sim memory is full which is 50msgs.Need help and whats message reception alert in profile what to set on it once or periodic...HELP!

vesna, 10 Jul 2010my friend and I bought this phone in same time in two difer... moreSelect settings in ur MENU, then select the "DISPLAY AND LIGHT" option, select "WALLPAPER" option and from there it will give u the '3 WAY WALLPAPERS' u can switch between as u mentioned. Try it

my friend and I bought this phone in same time in two diferent stores and our phones are so diferent... colors, main menu, widgets and games...
I wondered why she has tree slides in menu like on standbye screen and I got only one??

I was thinking about getting a 32gb Micro for my Star. It says 16gb, but was it tested at all with a 32gb? Just wondering if anyone knows.
A friend had a 8gb in a 4gb phone, and said something about the design and electronics of the phone doesn't allow a higher gb card to run effectively.
