why when im turning it on it's too very slow to load ? is that normal?

Hi. I'm hoping on getting this phone or the nokia 5230 this week but really need to know if the sms alert tones are like the other samsung phones, not very loud. Can you use an mp3 as a message alert tone? How is the call quality as my previous samsung phones weren't that great. I'm a proud nokia user but my upgrade only offers these 2 phones. Help me out urgently. Thanks.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Samsung Star is the best entry-level touchscreen phone in the world. true it does not have a dedicated OS n all, but nokia has all the age old features which everyone is bored with. samsung shows the true colours of a touchphone. u need to use it to appreciate it.
even i have moved on to another phone after using star for a year but i still love its features at this price. n u have no place in this forum if u r a samsung hater. go bark somewhere else.

I need help! When i wanna listen a melody i must look after it in all my music store (phone&card memory), does this phone have a browser to search on the phone something exactly? Because i lose a lot of time to find what i'm locking for! Thanks

I bought this phone yesterday n i install operamini 4.2 but it says no connection to server. Same problem is with ebuddy but i can run gprs with phone browser please anybody help me to fix this problem

joydeep, 07 Mar 2010i would like to buy either Samsung Star S5230 or Nokia 5233... moresamsung 5233 is a good phone i'm using it last month and thankfully there's no technical problems i'm facing,:) go for it :)
DON'T GO FOR N5230 IT IS A CRAPPY PHONE !

Can anybody help me getting Samsung USB driver compatible with Windows 7, 64 bit processor?
I tried to install USB driver given along with the CD when i bought Star 5233A. Its is not getting installed. I could not connect my phone with laptop in USB mode.
