nicky, 18 Feb 2010star is good but the sound is very high how to less the volumein reply to nicky, when you are listening to the music and you want to alter the volume up or down, then use the two buttons on the top left hand side, next to where you plug in the charger/usb ... ;-) hope this helps

samsung has really discoverd an amzing phone ,,, i have just purchsd and fin this to be a very nice touch screen ,,,, i have taken it for 6k with 8 gb card in it in exchange for my w580i which i used for 2 yrs ,,,if any one wants to go for a pgone it goofd clarity and internet go for it ,,,, might be it will be out of stock very soon ,,,,coz i also chkd out nokia 5230 and except for the screen size ,,, i did not like anything in it ,,, want some more advice for this phone feel free to cll me on 9833620539

hey! i hv bought dis cell a couple of months back.
its gud designed but i found sum difficulties like-its quite slow while music player is working..nextly, it does not contains any updates moreover themes r not available for dis cell..n setting wallpaper sucks!!
can anybody help me by leting me know is SE c901 or nokia n73 is better option den it..????

The samsung star is overall a good phone. the browser works like a charm and opera mini as well. the phone feels great and is easy to use. however as a previous nokia user, the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. if i use the internet daily and play a couple of songs i have to charge it everyday. i have not bothered to buy an external memory card for it. a pretty good touch screen for the low price but if you love your music and don't like charging everyday rather get a nokia or sony ericsson

who can't run these games they haev old firmware all those who have purchased phone in past 2-3 months can run it !
other can run it through other method
