This phone's a reaaly nice touchscreen entry-level phone that my mom love to use... I really can't understand why u people are arguing about brands in each phone's opinion pages... It's really unnecessary... Yes Nokia seems to be coming from behind in new trends in gsm phone world but coming with a meemo potential in following days...Also most of us has a history with nokia... Today smartphones like HTC Blackstone (i really love to use) and Samsung Omnia Pro are topping the standarts for touchscreen phones. Iphone is another story to tell since it's very fun to use expensive toy lacking standarts for white collar professionals....So we should compare price-performance of the phones at the same standarts and star seems a nice choice as a present for your younger siblings or you mother. :))))

I totally like what samsung just launches samsung star with wi-fi, I can use the internet wirellesly free without paying the internet, bec. internet is too expensive on the phone, yes there is no 3G and GPS thats only the disadvantage but in over all a touchwiz phone features with a wi-fi is a totally for a steal, antway samsung features is very well good and nice, im going to wait for that here in the Philippines shores soon....

Very good easy to use entry level touch phone. Unlike Nokia : big fonts, loud speaker. Nokia S60 is such a pain to use with its microscopic fonts and messy screens. Nokia should make a simple S40 touch phone or they are going to loose the battle with Samsung.
