hi maya..

optimus one p500 costs rs11200/- and galaxy3 rs11300/-.. these are the best offer prices at chennai.. u ll get both for less than rs12000/-.. i would suggest optimus.

i cant change the white background yet.. but im not searching for one. it doesnt hurt me much. u can get enough themes tht suits the background.. i think its stupid to decide the phone based on background colour. just go for it if u need an excellent ui and cnt compermise on money..

          wave 5250 is the best phone in the market ... the only reason is because of what you get at a Rs.7500 price...

          So any phone. higher than this price shud be compared carefully with s5250..
          If anyone gets a bad piece its a badluck and needs a change... everything works as smoooth as silk... it has got lots of options... some drawbacks are there, but non irritating...i am using it since 2 months and u guys can ask more if u want.

            wave 525 is a dump fone n its really sucks.......
            - inbuilt facebook not working properly
            - speaker is dump. my old china mobile plays better then it.
            - only white background
            - no 3g, monte has 3g
            - wifi not working properly, excellent quality of wifi in monte
            - touch is not good as monte
            - a simple look..monte has very stylish look
            - bada os has limited apps, java in monte has unlimited appps
            - dosent have paliringo, while monte has
            - older version of dictionery
            - in temp. high than 40 degree, it dosent work

                              the response time has less to do with the screen. its other hardware elements that decides it.. screen is same for wave 525, 533, 723 and galaxy3. all those have different response time.

                                opera 5.1 works fine. this comment is posted through it.. wave is better than monte in every aspect. go for it.. im an indian and i dnt miss 3g as tariffs are too high. best value phone..

                                  to maya, sorry for the late reply. but here's my opinion bout wave 525 : all around it's a great phone (considering for the good price), music is good, touch screen not that good but ok(sometimes it reacts a bit late), the samsung apps is a plus on this phone. for the ringtones and other applications is good. connectivity is depend on the provider i guess, edge is a little out of date but if you have a wifi connc. it's not a problem. one thing i might add, to anyone who wants to buy this phone, and have big fingers, better chose the other wave (528) cause i have big fingers and typing is a bit tricky on this phone.

                                      hi maya.. im a user and i think its the best for the price. mine cost rs7400.i dnt think v get a better one for that price.
                                      cons: i find battery prob.im a hardcore user. i can barely get a full day. but it should be jst my prob cause my 1st recharge lasted only 4hrs (should be 12-16hr). also phone is a bit slugish and cant keep up at time. the appstore is really poor (worse than i hoped for), and the camera doesnt hv autofocus or flash (still the image quality is good)
                                      pros:everything else. superb user interface, great music (but i want in-ear earphones) good camera etc.. screen is great.

                                      so if u r looking for a feature rich almost-smart phone and cant spent more money, go for it. but if u can give more go for galaxy3 (feature-mixed smartphone) or lg optimus one p500 (pure smartphone which is worth the extra). my choice is optimus and gonna but next week..

                                      choose wisely, live well..
