hey i was amazed with this phone..when i accompanied my friend when he was buying this phone.
this phone is super packed for those who cant shell out money beyond 10,000 range.
i mean it got everything in it.
* a 5 mega pixel cam-flash-auto focus-smile detection.
* qwerty keyboard and handwriting recognition s/w.
* the touch interface is so cool.. a touch of finger will bring the result unlike the nokia 5800 touch interface which require double tapping.
* 1 finger zooming is an nice feature.
I cant wait to buy 1 for me..
will definitely buy with in two or three days..

i dont think samsung is not doing a fair job in terms of phones,applications like You tube etx are not working at all!!!!!1

Everybody tells about this cell phone's camera,browser,music player,etc
I wanna know if this is good as a Phone, does it has a good signal? good reception? are the signal bars always on top? just wondering!!!

1. Delete the configured wireless connections if you already have one.
2. Enable wi-fi but do not perform search at the moment
3. Now open the browser and select settings then browser profiles press search for wi-fi.
4. Select the connection that you want to connect to then type the details and match the settings on the router.
5. Auth type = WPA, encryption = TKIP, network key = router pre-shared key, protocol = HTTP, Home URL = address of modem (you can change it later if everything is already working), leave proxy blank, linger = default, adhoc = off, no need to do advance settings.
6. Save the settings and do not connect yet.
7. Exit the browser and go to Wi-Fi and select the connection that you have just configured and select details.
8. Check all the settings if ok. if the channel is different with the router, adjust it on the router to match the one used by the phone. IP address = not connected (it will automatically connect once you browse the internet).
9. Now, try to browse the internet but you must set first the connection you've just configured as default connection.

maybe you're not well set up wifi, or you need to flash phone and install new firmware...I have same problem on the JET and I flash my phone,now works great.

ALTHOUGH what i stated is nothing if i start comparing Monte and marvel s5560 briefly.
these phones are not smart phones. so you cannot wish to have everything in it.

Its upto u if u want better camera go for s5560 but if u want 3g,GPS and better touch response go for samsung monte all the other features r same,and also i think we need 3g as 3g spectrum has been launched in india,i m using monte from one month and i m quite happy with it.
