the set is Samsung S5600 is very beautiful hand set. and its LCD touch is very sharp and my favorite is Samsung S5600.

jerempot, 30 Jul 2010help... which is better, this phone or the samsung monte S5... moreIm also having a hard choice on which phone to buy.. monte or preston?? I like Preston because it has a LED flash while samsung monte doesnt have a LED flash.. But Monte has windows OS and wifi capable.. please give us your thoughts on which is better between these two phones. thanks guys! :)

To me this is e... moreI had the same problem with my Nokia a year ago... I worked out what the problem was...
Did you delete files off of the memory card via your computer?
I did. Instead of just deleting the files, it created a recycle bin trash folder on the memory card called .\Trash100 or something like that... when my phone was detecting the memory card on startup, it just couldn't handle having a folder of this type on it and would just restart.
So that is my guess... you have a folder type on your memory card that makes the operating system on your phone go stupid.
TO CHECK... HAVE THE PHONE CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE "SHOW HIDDEN FOLDERS" SELECTED FROM YOUR "FOLDER OPTIONS" (FOR WINDOWS)... NOT SURE ABOUT MAC/LINUX.
IF YOU FIND ANY SUCH CRAZY FOLDERS ON THE MEMORY CARD, JUST "CUT" THEM OUT RATHER THAN "DELETE" THEM.

Please do not buy this phone. You can't zoom camera even if it is 3.2MP. The voice quality is not so good. It doesn't supports stereo sound. To make it silent you have to bring VOLUME to 0. Before buying didn't checked for all this that's throwed it in water not even in dustbin. Regret on buying this phone.

vishu, 23 Jul 2010useless for net browsing..does not support opera mini5 beta 2.I have installed Opera Mini Beta 5 version. It is working fine and speed is also good. Have downloaded film songs, news items, pdf documents, etc.

the phone is cool based on the reviews i read and watched... i'm planning to buy one, but the price in davao city is ranging from 12k - 12.5k...this totally pissed me off since in luzon areas...this phone is so affordable.
