1>How is the audio quality through the earphones??
Also does samsung provide an adapter for a 3.5mm audio jack earphone in the box. I am concerned about the music quality as a major use of the phone will be for music.is it comparable with a Walkman series in terms of audio quality via earhones.
2>Does this phone hang like nokia N series while opening apps and folders.

When I set a wallpaper on the s5600 I have a problem the wallpaper only stays on the middle screen if you move left or right with the home screen to sort widgets out the wallpaper is not applied left or right just in the middle.

Hey Preston Owners,
Does anybody know, what is the best way to use "auto reply" feature under Phone profiles.
I have activated the feature for profile Silent and driving and also saved some text msg. not working :-(..
Any suggestions????

Janish, 22 Aug 2009My Firmware- s5603DDIF1(India)Thanks for the reply. Right now I am looking around if there are any changelogs with the different FW. I found out that some just have language support difference. I will keep posting once I find something more like camera updates... etc...

chocochip, 22 Aug 2009Janish sir, just bought this phone last week and just wonde... moreI convert the movies in my laptop by the video converter in the Samsung PC Studio to mp4 format at 30fps and then just transfer it via USB to phone..
For the wallpapers- i download 240X320 wallpapers from www.zedge.net (amazing site for wallpapers) and then connect three wallpapers using adobe photoshop to make a 720X320 wallpaper for the phone...
But I was unable to download the games in it via PC.I have heard that it can only be downloaded from the phone...

To all Preston owners, can you tell me what is your phone's firmware? Currently here is what I know:
S5600XEIG1 -> said to be the latest (August)
S5600XEIF1
S5600XXIE4
S5600XXID9
S5603DXIF3 -> my FW (Asia - Philippines)
You can check your FW by pressing *#1234# on the keypad. Once you find out, please post and state where you are from. I am trying to find out if there are major changes or if the FW are just regional.

Can we update the software so that we can have QWERTY keyboard in Star 3g?
Also I wanted to know about the battery life, because some sites how its 3hrs talk time and some 8 hrs talk time.. !!!
