It lo... moreI think the max capacity of 500sms are enough, I think there is a way to save them through the memory card as .txt files but haven't really explored that yet. 500sms are just fine, I delete a ton of sms as I like keeping my inbox clean.

The screen is big for a phone that has only 240x320 resolution but the pixels aren't that noticeable. Sunlight legibility is just okay but I don't use it outdoors that much under direct 12noon sunlight anyway.

I wish there is a way to add more themes like with other phones but it seems that nobody hacks Samsung phones as much as Motorola or SE or Nokia. If there is a software update, then it could be.

Yes, you can add more widgets but I think it depends on the area (Asia, Americas, Europe). Right now, there are just a few widgets from where I am(Asia)but I do think that more will be out since Samsung opened up its system to 3rd party developers.

Interface is quite fast. I don't have an 8gb card since they run out of stock when I bought mine and I only have a 4gb card, no comment on that yet and right now I still don't have a need to have an 8gb card. I don't really do a lot of multitasking on my phone aside from playing music thru bluetooth while sending sms.

Video is okay, no skipped frames playing at 24fps. I think it could also play 30fps but haven't tried that yet.

BTW. This is my 1st Samsung phone after a long line of Motorolas. I am very satisfied with it.

    but let me clear one thing.

    i know this phone don't have qwerty key.
    so in what place accelerometer act?
    i mean, when viewing photos or movies or when playing songs or throughout the OS.
    can it be turned off?
    i haven't also read the when we move the phone while viewing photos, the phone will show next photo. isn't it?

      A capacity to store 500 messages is very small. Any way to increase this?

      How's the display quality? Does it look like a bit pixelated? 2.8-inch screen for a 240x320 pixel resolution is pretty big. And also the contrast & sunlight legibility.

      Only two themes. Can we download another?

      And also widgets. Can we add/download other widgets?

      How's the interface? Is it fast even if a 8 gb card is inserted? No lags when multitasking?

      And video playback. No skipped frames playing a 23 fps mp4 videos?

      I would really appreciate your response guys. Thanks in advance. This will be my first Samsung phone if i decide to buy this.

        - Yes you can have multiple playlist on it, playlist size is up to your memory card's capacity.

        3) Can we perform other functions when music player is ON?
        - Yes.

        4) Can we see slide show of pictures stored in Memory Card?

        - Yes.
        5) As camerea is fixed focus, does it make huge effect on its working?
        - It is fixed focus, takes good every day photos.

        6) Is it easy to type SMS in this phone?
        - I have big thumbs so I am prone to mistyping but, Yes.

        7) How is the sound, Is it loud enough?
        - Very loud in terms of calling and audio play.

        8) Does it provide Themes? Or it has the theme creator like Samsung s3500?
        - Nope, not yet. Has only 2 built-in themes, 3 fonts to choose from and thats it.

        9) Can we play videos in full Screen?
        - Yes. I think can only play up to 320x240 with 24fps mp4. Haven't tried in WMV format yet.

        @to the person who claims it is autofocus - do you even own the phone? I had mine for 3 weeks now and there is no autofocus! But the camera is good and fast enough to take pics with little or no blur at all.

                    @Anshul - audio quality is quite good, all you have to do is change the equalizer and use better earphones.

                        Still on the learning curve, i just realized that the earphone and the sound quality of the speakers(built
                        in) arent that great, so thats a let off for a nokia or sony user.12k for this phone then seems to be a high price.

                              i'm going to buy this phone.
                              but it's not available in my country so i'm buying from singapore.

                              so let me know somethings about this phone before buying

                              1. does camera has autofocus and smile detection

                              2. does it has GPS onboard (not so important for me)

                              3. can this phone handle java applications installation

                              4. anyway to change the themes for this phone

                              (gsm arena don't release any review and i saw controversial issues on other reviews)
