Karthi, 28 May 2011Hi guy... now i am using Samsung Monte. it is a good phone.... moreI am handling Nokia C5-03 of my friend form last week.
I want to tell you one thing that C5-03 is not a good phone as compared to Monte.
Touch sensitivity is dumb. Response time is so slow that you have to wait at lest 2-3 seconds to get reply from the phone while going through menu.
It has Symbian operating system but its look is too old. You can change themes in it but as far I am concerned no cool looking themes available for it till date.
It has a 5MP camera but images captured are not worth 5MP. Even Net speed is also not that good even in 3.5G Network.
Still it is your choice to select a phone...

rajiv, 28 May 2011which one is much better Samsung Monte or nokia C5-03, ple... moreHi guy... now i am using Samsung Monte. it is a good phone. but my opinion is that you can buy Nokia c5 03.. because Monte has no operating system..it has only 3.2 mega pixel camera.. and the main thing is user customization in the Monte is not good..we can't install any theme.. if you want mobile for only internet using purpose you can buy Samsung Monte..

for its price range i can consider it worthy.it has good call quality.superb audio..fast internet using opera mini..youtube works fine..only weakness is camera..no flash or autofocus but still usable.hope that helps!

I have been using this phone from past 8 months its simply superb. only one drawback is no flash light. other than that its superb..........

good phone overall..very good call quality no reception problem.fast internet esp. using opera mini.youtube works fine.the only drawback is camera it has no flash..but its a good choice nonetheless.

so far i have no problem w/ monte.internet is fast esp. using opera mini 6.youtube works fine.very good audio quality..no reception peoblem calls are loud and clear.the only drawback is the camera it has no flash..overall its a good phone.

I read the reviews and I can't find a particularly well opinion on how this phone is.

when i m connecting my monte with laptop i m getting download speed of only 15-18kbps when using 3G network it shows network speed of 115.2kbps whereas i used my sim with samsung metro 3g n it is showing network speed of 3.6mbps with download speed of around 100-180kbps on connecting to laptop
please suggest me how i can increase speed upto 3.6mbps with monte as i reqd same to be connected to my laptop
