I got my samsung monte july 2010 and at first i was having problem with the phone because it kept rejecting my sim from time to time but eventually it got fixed somehow by itself. With regard to internet connectivity I would say it is very responsive. I am having much fun with the image editor. It cn do wonders with the pictures I took using the unit. Just cant say much with the camera because without the image editor the pictures by itselfs is not too good and clear. In total... I like how it looks and its overall functionality. Good job samsung.

here is my experience with this phone(gt-s5620 ddjl1 firmware)
pros cons
network nice,good speed in 3g ---
style good looking,light weight ---
touch screen good display,smooth interface ---
(touch experience like iphone)
sound good--music player good(but not -----
superub like my previous 5800xm)
bluetooth slow compared to nokia
camera good outdoor poor indoors,no focus so blur in near pic
gps worst gps...still haven't seen my position on maps
got hanged once while opening sounds folder in profiles(500 files in that folder--this problem stopped after i have organised them into folders)
battery:1point goes down a day....i use it for 3hrs music play...2hrs radio(this phone got fm recording too)..2hrs browsing...1hr gaming....goodbattery life compared to my prev nokia 5800
in total an average performing good looking phone at an affordable price of 7,700 rs.
campared with other phones in similar price range price range
it's a better option bcoz nokia 5230 is also a good phone but no wifi and video calling.....

Can anyone help me please. I have to save my contacts twice (normal number and same number with the prefix) as when someone calls me it appears as unkown but when the same person send me a text message it appears with his number. can anyone know what can I do?????
