Aartii, 24 Nov 2010no dear,what am i doing is,first setting password for.messe... moreupdate ur firmware.. u can do it by connecting to kies or by giving it to service center.. it ll not cost u if ur phone s under warranty

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2010hmm.. i dono wat d problem is.. if the messages r open and ... moreno dear,what am i doing is,first setting password for.messeges,then going to the main menu,i.e the word "desktop"we use for PC...then i go for messeges..and first time it will ask me for the password..then i'll read my messeges,then exit to main menu..locking the phone..then unlocking..then menu..then messeges..and there u are...u are able to open my messeges box..without password...you can now read my every messeges,drafts,sents messges..etc etc etc..this is the only problem am facing with my cute montyyy:(otherwise its really very nice working phn 4me...but i dont no how to get rid out of this :( is there any other option??? and anyway thank you really very sooo much for helping me...thanks :D

Aartii, 24 Nov 2010hey dear.sorry to ask the same Question everytime...but sti... morehmm.. i dono wat d problem is.. if the messages r open and if u slide them to view d next mess then it wont ask for a passwors.. or if ur messages folder is open and u go through the messages then also it wont ask for a password.. in other cases it should ask for a password..

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2010just now i checked my phone for security key.. its working ... morehey dear.sorry to ask the same Question everytime...but still not working..its only asking for the password once..after that messages are getting open without password...i tried even switch off-on but still not working:( :( :(

Aartii, 23 Nov 2010Thanks for replying dear thank you sooo much.and sorry to d... morejust now i checked my phone for security key.. its working fine.. follow the following procedures and check whether its working..
- menu > settings > security > privacy lock > check the "messages" option and select save.. the phone will ask for a password.. type the password and select confirm.. now password security ll be enabled to the messages folder..
the lock which i mentioned was the key which s at the right side of d phone.. told u to lock the phone and unlock it to get the password.. but wen i tried now its working fine without locking..
phone lock will be effective only when some other is used on ur phone.. that is ur phone wont ask 4 a password wen u enable phone lock wit d sim that ur using now.. but wen u change the sim card, then the phone will ask for a password.. hope this helps u..
