        iaso, 16 Nov 20101. it doesnt support VCARD, sorry. 2. it plays most videos... more1. it supports VCARD.. after u receive a v card, select more and then select the option add to phone book to add the contact.. the contact ll not get saved directly wen u open a message..

        2. it does not play avi files because divx support is not der in this phone.. 'm wondering why u mentioned nokia for avi!! it plays 3gp and mp4 perfectly. have your files converted to 240x320 resolution..

        3. dude, this phones doesn have an os.. so many applications aren't supported.. not only samsung, but also every other manufacturer's phone which is running under java platform has minimal applications.. in forums u ll find proper games.. try s5620 monte community in facebook.. u ll fina many information

        4. use ebuddy or nimbuzz to chat using skype, facebook, gtalk, msn, yahoo etc.. download opera mini 5.1 full screen browser.. it works well

                  i am using this phon by 3 month .
                  no problem but missing led flash to it...

                    1. it doesnt support VCARD, sorry.
                    2. it plays most videos but not AVI file(nokia). it plays 3gp perfectly. have your files converted.
                    3. 3g is automatically chosen (given your network supports it) turn on wifi first if you want to use it otherwise.
                    4. samsung rarely supports 3rd party apps. it is so difficult to download apps using the browser. full screen games from free sites like mobile9 is not working well. you need to pay legal games for it to function well.
                    5. skype is a no-no aswell as opera, it has palringo that supports multiple IM like yahoo etc(but i found it very difficult to use, samsung web drowser( i think its dolphin something is fast enough(i like it)
                    6. facebook app is very good, direct upload from memory card or shoot and upload.
                    7.google map is very useful.

                        i am able to view dvd quality movies full length on monte. Please do not misguide people on this forum, your original file should be of good quality and you should be able to convert it to the resolution this phone can play. Thats it.

                                  hi, every bdy.i hv used samsung monte.i m impressd frm d look of dat cell.bt d major drwbak of dat cell is.hang is too fast.nd d camera quality is also nt gud..bt d sound is magnificient.over all is gud.i gave 8 points out of 10....
