i felt audio quality is good but video streaming is poor in GPRS of Airtel which i am using. and you cant use the high quality videos in GPRS. you have to use normal quality. else i found it is very good hand set.

Ravi , Delhi, 26 Jul 2010This is very unfortunate with me, I bought this phone 10 da... moreya this phone is very much horrible. not for multitasking people. It is something like jack of all trades and master of none. It has almost all the features, but it doesnt have a good processor or ram capable of multitasking. It is not at all user friendly. Samsung has the habit of launching a mobile and completely forgeting about it. support is very poor. hope samsung should read these reviews and correct.

Captvative: U just hv to keep ur fingure on the button, no need to press it.
Monte has a very good touch.

This is very unfortunate with me, I bought this phone 10 days back.It just started showing "connected" when I booted it and automatically the battery indicator was indicating as charging , You can not use its keypad or menus in this condition. I went to Gurgaon sec-14 service center, they said its mother board will be replace and would be back after 15 days. Also they charged initially 276/- Rs as security. Dont Buy this phone. Exceed your limit by just 3000/- and buy Nokia 5800 XM

Are free applications available for Samsung Monte?
Can we use pre-downloaded maps along with the GPS without using 3G or GPRS Data (Same like Ovi-Maps used in some of the Nokia phones)?
