hey seven dude, can u help me with some idea? mine's cellphone network has 2 access points for internet.1 APN can connect opera,ebuddy while default phone browser can't.2nd APN can connect default browser but can't connect opera,ebuddy.but thanks Monte has option to choose 100 APN..but my default web or even opera can't download any jar files! even 1 files.it always fails 2 download jar files!do u have any idea to fix out this problem? even all internet settings are perfect.what can be the reason? do u have any idea? @ SEVEN

What is 3G ?? because the difference between this phone and Samsung S5560 is Samsung S5560 has no 3G and no GPS..

Am not 1. I cant speak about other phones but i can give u my point of view on Samsung GT S5620 monte. Screen Clarity==>GOOD. U will never be disappointed by screen clarity in Samsung devices. Point to note is that this phone provides 256K colors(better r available in market 16M) and screen resolution Size is 240 x 400 pixels(avg).
Touch==> The TFT capacitive touchscreen is flawless(capacitive is best when compared with any other touch types). navigation in the phone is too good. slightest touch is recognized.Accelerometer sensor for UI with auto-rotate feature is good(i think).
Camera==> NO FLASH. Captured picture quality is good(3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels). Captured Vids can be considered avg or some may say bellow avg.
Java==>Yes. u can install JAVA jad/jar files from the phone as well as online.
Document viewer==>S PDF files can be observed. But i doubt any 1 will be comfortable in reading docs on a mobile(i dont like reading docs on mobile. the scrolling is a headache for me)Zoom feature is available. If ur ok with scrolling then its good.
Wi-Fi==>S i dont know the meaning for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
Call function/adjust brightness==>Stupid Q. I think all phones provide that.This phone does.
OVIMAPS/google maps==>OVImaps i dont know. Google maps inbuilt.

i'm planning to buy a phone and i have narrowed it down to lg gt505, samsung monte,samsung star samsung corby pro and nokia 5530? what i'm looking for in a phone is screen clarity, effective accelerometer and touchscreen (where it takes a millisecond for the screen to respond), camera with flash that takes clear photos (not necessarily high pixel), with java and can install jar files, with document viewer (especially pdf and word coz i install ebooks), and the wifi is not so sluggish, call function clear, and can adjust brightness, and can install maps whether google, ovimaps or etc. i hope someone can help me decide which is the best. I'm not really particular whether the phone is 3g or not as long as the above are there. thanks

For music loves the video will be disappointing.
am working in a mobile gaming company so during my office hrs am able to check this phone.
MP4 is supported(good quality vids) but low resolution(am not sure). 3GP is supported. Div-X is not supported. Camera is average. Dont expect much with it.

Before buying any phone plz make sure to know what your NEEDS/REQUIREMENTS are.
I dont know y peoples are giving up -ve feedbacks...
Having a look on the -ve feedback from the users point of view is bit disappointing...
Usually Samsung phones are costly(they do provide style), but this phone is completely Value for Money.
Well GSMArena provides compare feature so have a look on it. U will not be able to find any cheaper device which provides capacitive touch,3g with a Wi-Fi.
My first phone was/is Samsung SGH X820(2 years 3 months and still running) and Samsung GT S5620 Monte will be the 2nd phone in my life. Am planning to buy this phone during this weekend. For future reference am planning to buy Samsung GT S8500 Wave(may be after 3 years lol)... I may change my mind if i find any better stylish phone.

This question is for monte users!! How good is the video play back capability of monte.I Gsmarena review its mentioned thats only very low resolution supported and only 15 fps is possible.So that means we can't watch video songs and movies with good quality? Also what all formats of video are supported.Please reply since im planning to buy this phone soon.It will be very good if somebody used this phone for one onth or so come with a detailed review with all pros and cons!.Thanks in advance

Its sad to see that people are complaining about this phone.
For those who are planning to buy, GSMArena gave a good review so READ IT.
Next for those who have already bought the phone I suggest you read both GSMArena review(once) and also plz read the USER MANUAL before complaining or asking any stupid stupid questions.
Finally for those who doesn't have any work, hate Samsung(mostly nokia users) & loves complaining. I have 1 simple task for u.
Can u find a phone which provides 3 features within this price range(9000 INR or 190 USD)?
==>Touchphone with capacitive touchscreen.
==>Wi-Fi
==>3G

My point of view:
Guyz Nothings perfect...No Phone is Perfect. If ur looking for perfection i hope ur DAD is rich b-coz always the costliest phone is the best phone in the market. Out of all the above 3 points mentioned Samsung phones provides a different look(style) on there phones and monte provides that...

...always complaining on small things....greedy people..wants every possible facilities in low priced phones and then complain,make unsatisfactory issue on non provided facilities..don't they have eyes to see and brain to judge the things..this and that..whatever..this is the world most affordable smartphone with all great facilities.

Phone is awesome in its category, with the price tag it has. Wel else was required?
I hope many of you got this phone bcos of wi-fi. Now anyone can help me to configure its wi-fi.
At office I have d-link router and at my house I have a Huawei Wi-fi Modem. Want to configure my wi-fi for both locations. Help required....
