I got this phone in India but its different from the previewed mobile, I did not find the task manager in my set and multitasking also is not available, and in main menu back button on touch screen is also not available i have to return by pressing middle button.
Is there any setting for getting the above missing or i have to upgrade the software.

If your monte gets overloaded the task manager opens.

guys, i have said before that i cant launch the task manager. Yes I dont know how. But when I used the internet and says close some applications, the task manager opened. IT MEANS, EVERY MONTE HAS TASK MANAGER, BUT IT LAUNCHES AS NEEDED ONLY BY THE PHONE ITSELF.

I am planning to buy Monte. I know there are so many teche intelligent guys here commeting about Task manager not working on Monte.
My question is, Could anyone find any way to launch task manager? Like pressing some special key squence *#7092463*#? Come on guys, go and find some solution. You are really genius.

Anonymous, 14 Apr 2010which mobile best between samsung spica & monte ?Of course spica is best because spica is a smartfone, has higher resolution than monte, divx and xvid support, auto focus camera , better battery, android 2.1 , 800mhz processor Which are enough to say spica is best. the only downside of an android phone is that there is no secondary camera in any brand so far available.

By the way, one tip:
If you want to keep gprs connection alive when java application that using it is in the background, follow this steps:
*#7092463*# > 4.Module Settings > 6.Java > 3.VM settings > 3.MVM user End key option > Hide only > save
be careful with other menus :)

Its a good phone with all fe... moreGo outdoors, press Satellite Status, wait until 3 or more will be found, then press central button to go one step up, soon it will show your coordinates. It is possible to make it faster by using GPS+ option, where you can download current sat positions using internet connection.

I bought this phone yesterday. Its a good phone with all features.
Can anyone tell how to activate GPS on this phone. It is showing '0' as GPS values.
