i am using monte for 6 months i would not suggest someone to buy monte on coz it does not have an os i would recommand galaxy pro,wave 575,galaxy pop

The monte is a great phone! except for the software part where there is no OS system and no motion sensor games.
To keep a battery running longer on the monte just reduce the brightness.

It's a very good phone. I purchased samsung monte in last month. Its working fine. But the battery life is very low.

Superb Music & Video Calling
These are 2 major featuresw ere important, when I was searching a mobile in the Market to gift to my wife. After a month of studying, I finalised Samsung Monte.
I bought one yesterday @ Rs. 6700 at Kamla Nagar, Delhi.
All the other features of Samsung monte are similar to Samsung Corby Pro except Qwerty Keypad (which I bought @ Rs. 12100 in Jan 2010).
Its Good touch sreen, 3.5G (superb internet speed), Java application can be installed through websites only, Dual camera for Video Calls, WiFi and much more
People who are criticising Samsung Monte shall be honest and unbiased when reviewing anything. I can't find any missiing feature from this mobile that was essential for today's life.
I give 9/10 to Samsung Monte.
Ideal for people who want a fully featured Mobile and don't have money to throw away.

this mobile is verry good .... and picturen quality was vrry clear i am purchesh this mobaile yester day and this pice was verry slim .........
