I'm using this phone for near about 12 to 13 months but the problem is "Etiquitte pause" dosen't work !

I do not recommend the phone due to the following reasons.
- very lack of application support(wigets/Java support)
- No official free repository for wigets/ wallpapers/apps or specially firmware
- Need to pay for the available applications
- Very less modifications user can do to the out of the box config.
- No support for most of the the standard formats.
- UI application(Samsung Kies) is not user friendly and takes very high resource usage.
- If you are a tech guy this is not a phone for you.
- Few firmware updates are available and they are not officially supported and not even properly documented.
- inbuilt media player is not reliable and frequently stucks. It even stuck for videos like 12 MB. Once stuck only the option you have to remove battery.
- You have to live with the out of the box configs(like themes/browser) forever.
- I feel the internal structure like cheap Chinese product
- If you still think it's good, first check with someone who own it or by checking before buy against the above highlighted features.(Otherwise you have to suffer like me)
- only inbuilt HSDPA modem is good

Hi,
I purchased this phone 2 weeks back, overall this phone is nice, gud camera quality, gud touch screen. At this price this is the best specs 1 can get.
The only major drawback of this phone is that Samsung UI sucks all time, proper options are not there while navigating, many bugs are there in software e.g.
1. I opened music player once and now not able to close it, and its stuck to my wallpaper. Not even switching off the phone worked, Finally had to factory restore the phone.
2. While making a call we cant read/write messages.
3. To set message tones for a profile, we can not here the tone while setting it for a profile, there are 4 message tones, i had to set each tone and send a message to myself to here the type of tone. After sending 4 messages i was able to decide which tone i liked the best. Also we cant set our own message tone, only 4 avlaible tones could be set.
4. And many more similar irritating bugs.
Proper testing of this phone has not been done. Whereas in nokia, a cheapest phone is very well tested and has better options than this phone, we can read and send messages while doing a call in nokia phones like 2626, 1110 etc.
If you wanna buy samsung phones, then only go for android versions, coz samsung UI sucks big time.

I bought it before 2 months
what an cool features am lucky to have this phone camera clarity is also good with video we can download many java apps and it runs with good speed and the uc browser is too fast we can download songs,videos etc and the touch is too soft i like all the features thanks for Samsung team
