Check whether the battery is swollen. (It may happen due to regular excessive charging of the Phone)
If yes then the battery is damaged replace it immediately because it may lead to malfunctioning of the phone...

Thats not the original battery, original battery for this phone can stay for as long as 3 days and for at least 24hrs for calling// not that good enough for video calling.. u cant use the front camera for taking photos

I will try your solutions and will notify what happens.
Actually this phone has a lot of issues which have made me say it BAD. Especially I think that Indian firmware is never updated by Samsung so may be it has more flaws.
Which firmware do you have?

Dear Rajus,
I guess your experience with this phone is bad but this phone is not that much bad as you are saying...
Every Phone have some flaws this also have some. That doesn't mean this phone is bad.
Here are some Solutions to your problems:
1) For Internet purpose use Bolt Browser (Which even opens online Facebook videos with resolution less than 320*400).
2) For watching online Videos from YouTube use YouTube Software.
3) For Chatting Use Nimbus.
If you have more queries just ask them I will try to solve them...

Monte is good only as a basic phone.
For any advanced feature like internet or gps or chat it very bad and totally useless.

I do not know why Samsung release such phones which are advertised to do everything but do not do anything satisfactorily. Monte is a great example for this case.
Better Samsung should concentrate on making phones which may perform satisfactorily.
Monte is just like a basic multimedia phone with touchscreen and video calling.
Camera quality is BAD and anyone who has this phone should assume that it does not have any GPS, because GPS in monte is worst of no use.
Moreover SNS apps are very bad and IM is worst.
So there is no real use of 3G other than video calling.
Document viewer is also of NO real use.
