[deleted post]Disregarding the dumb part of your comment, i forgot to mention that this has nothing to do with video recording. Its only about taking pictures. S8500's video recording is way better than 723's

I got my hands on a 723 test unit, and the only better thing about it that I've noticed (compared to the original Wave) is that the camera exposure and focus when using the LED flash is now more-or-less perfect.
The original Wave has a thing where instead of reducing exposure and ISO speed automatically during the focusing phase, they're static. Because of that,
1) when taking a close-up picture the flash makes everything white and auto-focus may fail to work
2) instead of making the flash fire at maximum but with reduced ISO and exposure - which avoids blurry pictures, only the light level of the flash is dimmed (results with overexposed blurry pictures)
The firmware in 723 fixes all this. So basically at the end 723 has an effectively better camera in the dark :)

honestly, that lame thing doesn't deserve to have "Wave" in its name... there's no way it can compete with the original Wave, no where close to it, be it design or tech stuff... at least it's running Bada, so Bada gets more spread out around the world and more apps will be made available for it...

It's the real thing, and Samsung even held a copetition for the OS. And it's not based on Linux! It's based on touchwiz with android touch feelings... And huawei is a very, very bad quality phone from china. DUH! China makes a bad quality of everything. Mu friend bought huawei, and it only last for a day. And, for ur information, mobile phones from china is used at ASIA only.... There's only a few users in europe and america....

Looks a bit like the Tocco Lite, and there's little wrong with Bada OS, even if it is rather strikingly similar to Android. This could be a decent mid-range smartphone.

with bada they control what you install like iphone(have a 3g, like it, but i find it limited to my taste). no skype on bada!??!!!
I think more people will stay away from their badacrap phone when they discover you can install what you want with a samsung android based.
u ad a little more $$$ in an android, but after this u can download cracked navigation softwares, skype,...
