come and comp... moreWhile i admit Defy is rich in hardware specs(Os and design too)and along with recently announced MileStone 2 are two of not many handsets that i liked them but if you put it head-to-head with S8500 Wave or veteran of Android realm I9000 Galaxy S,i think it will outpaced at a glance.
True that i'm a Samsung only consumer all of it's products but lets be honest recently GSMArena did a brilliant job by comparing Galaxy S and iPhone 4 inch by inch just read it and see what happened to iPhone 4 whom named it self as the best not only in an specific segment or OS but entire mobile phone market.Galaxy S simply destroyed it.
i'm eagerly waiting for the day that GSMArena publish an articled featuring a new Moto and S8500 Wave or Galaxy S head-to-head!

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2010What's the Processor speed?With these specs i think it will be Qualcomm MSM6281 clocked at 500MHZ(same as used in S8300 Ultra Touch).
True this CPU underperformed but S8300 is(or was actually)good but trying to be great phone and for being great(AMOLED,fast response,...)you need more than that MSM6281's 500MHZ but Wave 723 neither is a great phone or try to be and it's targeted market is actually feature phone users or close to feature phone segment and expectations of these guys aren't huge.(as we already know in coming years Samsung will drop even Java in favor of Bada so it's feature phone line will actually be Bada with limited same to feature phones capabilities).

make these phone's with JARREN-OS! that's open source, based on Linux. Sooo much Better. Huawei phones wil come with this OS, than the world will tremble!!

Why samsung is trying to revolutionize their bada os into mid range phones. They can put android or windows into their mid range phones with better specs a 5mp wit led n atleast 360x480 screen resolution. I bet this phone will sell like hot cake.

It looks nice, but i don't know why they put inside memory less then 1GB ?? And if some one can tell me about the revaluation of screen and touch system? If we compare to Iphone4 what will be most different ))tanx guys ))))

Samsung outpaced all but Nokia and 80% to 90% will do the same to only competitioner left in next 2 years other wise it will happen in max 5 yrs.

Sexy industrial design. Ideal mid level replacement for the still popular F480. A phone that sold to non gadget freaks that want something sensible but with a slight edge. The Wave 723 will sell like hot cakes.
