Using from last two months.
excellent image quality in its class with good options.
very fast response while saving and taking images.
flash is very good for night photography(indoor)
music quality is very nice (virtual 5.1 sound is also good)
Screen quality is awesome. Natural look while playing movies.
Phone book is nicely organized.
2 days battery backup with normal usage (listening music, playing movies for one hour). Battery capacity increased after 10 to 15 recharges. First 3 days it stands for one day only.
********* So no need to think about other applications and installing themes. they will not help us in any way. ********
It is a adoptable phone who thinks about quality.

yap u can use the full speed of 800 but when you restart your jet it would go back to its same normal performance dude

FULL SPEED..Alright guys.
In this tutorial i'll teach you how to make your Samsung Jet run at the speed it was made to run, aka 800mhz.
Your phone right now is not running at a constant 800mhz speed.
The default mode that the phone comes with, is the Dynamic mode.
This mode is constantly switching between frequencies. From 800mhz to 700mhz and so on, but never above 800.
This makes the phone slower than it should be.
What we will do, is completely safe and u do not have to open your phone or to modify any software from it. U will NOT lose your warranty. You will simply have the phone running at it's standard speed. I am very sure that this phone can reach higher speeds than 800mhz, but we will not go into that right now.
Ok what you need:
A Samsung Jet phone, no matter the carrier.
2 minutes, of your time. =)
Here we go:
Open up the keypad and type down exactly like this:
*#6984125*#
A menu will pop up if u entered the keys correctly. U dont need to press the dial key or anything.
Now chose option number 4 (Internals)
Type down the password exactly like this:
*#9072641*#
Press confirm
If everything went well, you should have menu with different options.
Select option number 3 (Test Mode)
Now select option number 8 (Common)
Select option number 8 again (DVFS Configuration)
On the pad, press number 1
Press number 1 again
Press the "#" key
Press the back key
Now press the Cube button and you should be back to the interface.
U don't have to reset the phone. If you reset it, the speed will be back to dynamic.
You're done ! =P
You should notice a speed difference when zooming and navigate on pictures and when switching between the menu.
If you have questions, just ask.
If you want to know the impact on battery, i'ts not dramatic.

Who said 5800 sound better then Jet, re... morebut it has widget for bluetooth so you can on/off it easily..
and jet has multitasking function..
it a good feature..
5800 not good..

Who said 5800 sound better then Jet, read again my comment.
I have checked again that not every icon on the Jet screen are shotcut to the function, for example, switch on bluetooth on Jet than back to stanby screen, you will see in the top of screen the bluetooth indicator(in this case I call it icon, maybe I wrong call it icon), pls click it what happen? it not active the bluetooth sub routine, if you do at 5800 it goes to bluetooth sub routine and you can deactive the bluetooth or do others setting of all bluetoooth functions.
other example if you click the clock it goes to clock funtion ie, seeting alarm etc, if you click the date it goes to calender and profile, so every icon on the screen are a live or shotcut to the sub routine. That what I mean.
Yes agree with your sugestion to chose Jet since I have Jet and I start like it, the camera is good, so I can replace my N95 8G with this Jet.
Frankly speaking, Nokia is the best in term of user friendly, easier to use and more software(application, games, thames etc) support out there, its fact!

at the one who said 5800 music quality is better than jet..
jet is dolby surround even though nokia 5800 is xpressmusic,,
jet is still better in music quality with or without earphone..
i suggest samsung jet than nokia 5800..

Quality of jets are different in many countries, so if you are most likely in a developing country the phone might have quite a few cons.
