hello
I'd like 2 clarify a point .. I've talked about Jet's screen sensitivity which is the best among other resistive touch screen but actually it's no mach for capacitive touch screens like iphone or even sam f480, samsung f480 beats Jet in screen sensitivity but jet beats f480 in every thing else ... but im the other hand jet lacks good graphics accelerator and you can feel that wile viewing pictures, in addition to the fact that it's not a smart phone (but have some smart capabilities), and finaly it's hard to find applications for it .. otherwise it's (my opinion) very good phone for its look,size,specs,and price .

The screen works fine and the design is very nice but...The operating system is way to basic and it lacks ALL the advanced features found on most other mobile phones.
1. You can not acces the calender while talking to someone on the phone.
2. Internet functions is difficult to set up.
3. You can not maneuver through written sentences. If you see a spelling error you have no choice but to delete everything unless you have very sharp nails and can pinpoint the exact place of spelling error.
4. It has no smileys???
5. 6. 7. 8. 9. would take too long to explain all the flaws. Don't buy unless your needs is extremly basic.

with me!!! HONESTLY!!!

to use the phone or afraid of

better some how...
my advice is just USE YOUR COMMON
SENSES in using this phone!!! don't
be so dumb or something!

A lot of posts regarding if the jet is as good as it is made out to be.
1. When comparing phones or judging a specific phone, do not rely just on the specs. That is redicilous.
Actual usage is what counts. The story with jet is that it looks awsome on paper. I agree, hands down. Awsome, awsome phone when you only look at the specs or if you have just used it for a couple of days only.
But when you have used the phone enough, for a few weeks, then the problems become clear. Too clear. I will not discuss again its problems. They have been mentioned by many in here, just scroll down the pages.
What I do not understand is people eager to express their opinion and advise others to buy this phone just because of the specs... or by people who just unboxed it.
2. This is one of the few phones that its user rating (for design, features and performance) on gsmarena (left of the screen) has actually droped, not once but twice and still counting. When it first came out and people were just reading the specs, they rated it 8.5, 8.4, 8.5. After people started using it, the ratings drop to 8.4, 8.3, 8.4. Now they are 8.3, 8.3, 8.3.
3. Samsung is unrolling a new operating system for its smartphones (see relevant gsm arena article still on homepage). The jet is a duying breed and quickly at it too

jet has a better screen cause
its OLED!! and uses 16mil colors!!!
about the browser it's pretty much
WORKING!! 100% no lag! depends on the
speed rate of your wi-fi_
i can even stream videos through
youtube_and other video streaming sites!!!
widgets is cool when you have
a connection on the net [wifi.gprs.3g etc.]

hey klaudio ... in my opinion no one should listen to you or read your review about samsung jet .. do you know why ?? coz you know nothing about one of the basics about touch screens (which is the difference between capacitive and resistive touch screens)and that when you compared F480(capacitive) with Jet(resistive) .. don't tell me you know the deference but expected jet screen to perform better !! ..any way when people here speak about Jet responsiveness they know what they are talking about ... Jet screen sensitivity is the best among all other resistive touch screens ..

i just bought jet for around 290 Euros..After reading a lot of positive comments i decided to buy it. Now i am kinda dissapointed...Internet browser sometimes doesn't even open pages,,the widgets are useless,,the screen is good but compared to my ipod touch is crap..Navigation also crap..Google maps 2 hours to open sth...Even my old F480 screen responsivity is way better...I am finding it difficult to get used to jet..Should have bought a nokia e55 instead...or waited for the 4th gen iphone...:(

P doff, 13 Nov 2009I have this phone and my battery only lasts a few hours, ev... moreyeah i have this problem too. Battery drained within a day. Sigh....I bought this phone for less than 3 days and had sent in to service center. I was told they need to replace the circuit board and had to wait for 2 weeks get the parts shipped.
Kind of disappointed!
