hey Arf ..I guess you mean the original Omnia I900..here is the comparision between the two :
Jet is better than Omnia i900 at the following points :
touch sensitivity
display quality
processor
size
weight
(these differences between the two are minor except the the display quality and touch sensitivity which are clearly in Jet's side)

Omnia is better at the OS "Microsoft Windows Mobile" .. so it's far easier to find applications for omnia than for Jet .

    i would just like to ask if Omnia II is a good phone? im thinking of buying jet over omnia II because of the price. can anybody please enlighten me and give me some ideas if i should just save more money to buy omnia than buying jet? or the other way around.

        me again, 19 Nov 2009dear IM_HERE_TO_HELP .. buddy .. you seem don't know the di... morewell I expressed only the flaws of jet...f480 picture quality is crap compared to jet...even iphone display can't be compared with jet..The resistive display sensitivity comapared to nokia N97 is flawless (nokia n97 is like a stone) ..very good indeed...music player extra good (sound quality with WOWHD or 5.1CH is perfect) 2GB of internal memory...easy java support...nice battery life...etc etc...sry if i have been missunderstood...

              j got one (s8000) to my son a week ago and last night it couldn,t find network! j just came from service (repair shop), they told me its something wrong with hardware, oe. factory error...new phone, no parts.. advice: newer buy a new model! wait some time to see others people expirience on it...so, this one will "rest" in service who knows how long..

                no dude .. nothing more.. Jet beats F480 in everything else .. note that i'm talking about the touch sensitivity not the display quality, Jet is waaaaaaay better than F480 in colors(AMOLED 16M colors), Resolution 480*800 (almost the highest in the market i'm saying almost due to its 3.1 inches screen size.. others have the same resolution in 3 inches..almost the same..so we can consider Jet's screen resolution as the highest in the market)

                    can anyone plz help me.. my jet is able to connect wifi but unable to browse internet.... each and every time a same problem arises that is "" DNS""" failure.. can any one plz say me the step to recover it..????

                        dear IM_HERE_TO_HELP .. buddy .. you seem don't know the difference between capacitive and resistive touch screens exactly like klaoudio (or whatever his name was, i can't remeber).. I don't how can someone comment as expert while he doesn't know the basics !!
                        anyway .. F480 has capacitive touch screen which is waaaaaaay better in sensitivity than any resistive screen even if it's Jet's screen (the best among resistive screens) .. even if garbage has screen and it was capacitive type it would be way better than resistive screen even if these resistive screens belong to Jet or omnia 2 ..

                          hello? are you comparing the screen of f480 to JET? lol..f480 is way behind with jet! and FYI the screen responds good! and the accelometer! you just need to upgrade your firmware to be more efficient and fast.

                          click MENU and go to GAMES,in there you see Motion tutorial and thats IT!! choose GUIDE or in GAMING.

                          if you're ready and know how to use it press the motion gate (can be found in camera button)..hold it (long press)

                          this phone uses dophine browser and yes you can install messenger on it..use eBuddy cause it's an ALL-IN-ONE messenger! capable of doing multiple task on chatting even if your friends/contacts uses different messenger_

                            i need to try it 1rst then i will judges it.. the technology was there to discover its capabilities not to misjuges it..lack of knowledge and understanding is not considered a technical problem.

                                  I don't have the phone yet but i'm already planning to buy one. As a buyer i would normally check for reviews and opinions from the users-or maybe some non-users of the phone- to see if there are some problems. On my opinion, using the Jet really depends on the user, on how to use it wisely. If those users didn't like the phone's performance it's their mistake, but not to those who liked the phone despite the negative comments about it. If they were regretting on buying the phone, why didn't they thought about it before getting one?? I mean, they should not buy any phone unless they really love it. To cut this comment short, every users must use their new phones wisely, and i will not regret buying this phone because i will use it wisely.

                                      Guys one more thing, this JET features motion command like for example, tapping the screen twice moves to the next song when playing music, or by shaking the phone to end or open a particular apps.

                                      Could someone pls show me how to? Thnaks

                                        Guys,
                                        We alreday heard a lot of good and crap about JET. For me this model fits my requirements on a phone. That enough for me. I can do things i expect of this phone. its great especially this 4 features, MS Exchange active sync, brilliant display,snapy processor and the camera.

                                        So dont listen to those guys who talk crap about this phone. You liked the Jet, you own a Jet, just use it as its intended to. dont mind other what they say, they dont have a Jet, or maybe they have one, and expecting more of it, like wanting a chicken to act like a horse.
