Anonymous, 28 Oct 2009I got my Jet last August (Black/Red-triped back). Dusts are... morei got a black jet too. mine didn't have dust inside. maybe u can get a screen guard to protect th phone screen.

best java touchscreen fone...my brother just bought the il phenomenon satio,,,but my jet with xeii2 seems much better and faster....the ui so cool and customizable...symbian v5 seems so dull...
the screen is the best so far....the new firmware xeii2 brings better browser experience...so fast...new musicplayer with coverflow so smooth like iphone...new mediabrowser very2 modern...and i can install java app from bt....like se and symbian fone....
battery not to bad but average...coz it has hi res screen and hi speed 800mhz cpu...
this is the best touchscreen so far..very2 recomended

Pls help me on ma jet....
i tried to uptade the firmware of ma phone via pc studio...it said i had the latest version n ma model is s8003....wer do i get the xeii2 n how do i flash ma phone?????
i need 3rd apps 4 this mobile...it doesnt support ny app which i download...
n i cant play videos of youtube...they have never streamed 4m the time ive got the mobile..i connected to wi fi n still doesnt play:(
i really like the phine but i cant do much wit it...im bored pls help ny 1...plsssssssssss...

AMOLED screen is excellent. This phone does include a 3.5mm jack but does not have options or software available to search the music files in music player, the cookie kp500 does this but does not have a 3.5mm headphone socket, I am not very happy with samsung and I have not found any 3rd party software to do this.
This phone does not make a good MP3 player!

they're both the same but S8000 holds 8gig internal memory while S8003 has 2gig internal memory.
_definitely all phones will take a few seconds to load whatever moves you make cause it's reading...just like in some computer..it should take a sec or more..even YOU! if someone will ask u a question you will think first of your answer before letting it out into your mouth!! [laughs!]
with this phone i find it PERFECT! i have it on my hands! hahaha_ it's really COOL... love the screen! so clear! i use mp4 wen donwloading videos. it is a nice phone!

I got my Jet last August (Black/Red-triped back). Dusts are getting into the display (inside not the surface) from the right side especially the corners. It is very noticeable when the screen is off. I do not like it. Is this normal? Anyone having this too? Cause if it is only me, then it may be a defect and maybe I can have it replaced. Please?

hi vicky, jet is far far away better than that of a star wifi.. just review their specs.... or see the jet website... www.jet.samsungmobile.com..

Syam, 28 Oct 2009Hi aceedburn, is there any way to disable battery charging ... moresyam, there is no way i know of to stop the usb charging..but then it should not be a problem because generally you only connect your phone for a short period...i usualy use bluetooth to transfer files so i only use the usb connection for flashing. also, there is no way of getting rid of the operator name widget...you only have to send it back to the widget column.
