Hi, I would like to get a dictionary software(Eng-Chinese) to install in my JET. Can anyone tell me is this software available and from where can get it downloaded.

aceedburn, 27 Oct 2009good to hear that syam. glad everything worked out well for... moreHi aceedburn, is there anyway to disable battery charging while we connect the phone to a computer Via USB so that connecting to a computer don't affect battery's complete discharge then charge cycle. my pc connection settings is at samsung pc studio, will the mass storage option make any change in the battery charging.
then once i flashed the phone with xeii2 fw, my network service provider's name appears twice on the main screen this haven't happened with s8003 fw..is there any solution for this other than placing the widget in side tray

this model is now known as S8003. but i just want to know if this is better than star wifi...?

i bought this phone 1 month ago .i do enjoy using this phone .i happened to notice that this phone is the cream of the crab.camera is awesome ,speaker works perfectly, you dont need to tap or push heavily or bother your self to open programs .it worth buying .this phone has got a nice menu which is bright enough to read .the only thing that sucks is games which is least important in this phone.finally i have great impression of this phone.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2009any genuine feedback from Jet user who have it for a month ... moreA true fact about Jet is that, this set have some weaknesses like bad touchwise interface, Youtube access is there but when it runs Youtube files the video quality is very-very poor sometimes the video is not clearly visible and unable to play.
Some other real facts are - Accelerometer is very irritating and not very effective, poor batery life,insufficient internal memory for Phonebook and Messages(You cannot store messages in memory card.
As this set is new only few softwares are available online,not all JPEG images can be able to view.
Some Good things about Jet :- Nice picture quality in terms of Brightness,Colors,Depthness,Video (When playing a DVD format),Nice 5 Mega Pixel Camera with Flash,Slim and light wait body, Amazing Sound Quality ,3.5mm Audio Jack,Wi-Fi,2G and 3G internet speed.

suha yes u can install opera and any other jar software on jet after updating it to the latest firmware that is s8000XEII2

aceedburn, 26 Oct 2009syam, how's your phone now? what software version did they ... moreHi aceedburn, they replaced the phone for me after issuing dead on arrival certificate. got a brand new jet yesterday..now the jet pack comes with 2gb micro sd card and tv out cable as gifts but samsung have stopped shipping the old pouch with the phone instead they are giving a much cheeper pouch, we cant attend calls with the phone in it...ah! its okay as they provide us the memory card and tv out cable. i've flashed the phone to s8000xeii2 firmware and everything works fine..i was so lucky to get a new phone and i'm from india

Why does everyone keep going on about some texting problem.
Am i hearing things right that you can only send one text at a time and cant exceed 160 characters. SURELY NOT
