kkb2, 26 Oct 2009Thanks syam on your reply, but i want to know its performan... moreto kkb2, i got a friend who has a SE W810i he tried music from jet through its headphones and told that its way better than w 810i when the srswow effect turned on and has more bass too than his model. the 5.1channel settings comes real handy while watching movies in jet. my word is that the headphones of jet is equally good as creative ep630 earphones...trust me, you wont regret about the music clarity of jet. sorry no idea about the comparison with 5800 and n72..maybe i can help you with n81 and n86

aceedburn, 26 Oct 2009syam, use the rsrc2(low)..never use the (mid) as your phone... morethank aceedburn.. i've taken my phone to the service centre were they are updating my firmware and asked me to come back after 3 hours. i met a guy who had the same issue as mine in a forum in his case the camera module has to be replaced and was covered under warranty

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970syam, use the rsrc2(low)..never use the (mid) as your phone may not restart...as for the fs version...use the one without the RU at the end as it adds russian widgets which are not useful to us.

macoy, 25 Oct 2009plzzz help me guys,just wondering how to activate or where ... moreOn my Jet, there is no specific application for digital compass. Although, in the Navigation app there is an option to see a compass showing directions. I guess it internally uses GPS to get the directions. This can be found inside Navigation, under Show-> GPS information.
If you can't see 'Navigation' under Menu, please enable it by following the steps mentioned by JetUser.

Ive Had The Phone About A Month And A Half, And Already Very Annoyed At It!
Its Not All That Fast, I Keep have This Memory Message Come Up And Now I Went To Use It This Morning And All My Contacts Have Gone Completly Disappeared.
To Be Honest I Wouldnt Choose This Phone.

Rsrc2(low).rc2 or Rsrc2(mid).rc2 and also FactoryFs_Europe_Slav_OXE.ffs or FactoryFs_Europe_Slav_OXE_RU.ffs plese reply asap. thanks in advance

Anyone experiencing the phone become lagged? Mine need to wait for few minutes before I can use the applications once I went to the menu.. Noticed it after I've occupied some spaces on the phone memory.

had this phone for almost a month now and unfortunately, the touch screen is not working now. it freezes that the only thing to turn it off is when you have to remove the battery. after doing that and turning it on, it will freeze again, all buttons are not working. i am really disappointed. might just go back to sony ericsson.

To udpate new maps, use Route66Sync to search, checkout and download the maps that you need. For eg. since I am from India, I am downloading India map. Some maps are free and some are not. You will need to register which is free using the Route66Sync software before you can download and update maps into your mobile.

For people having Jet (S8003) follow the steps to get your Navigation app working on Samsung Jet
1) Tap the Keypad and enter Admin setting menu *#5239870*#
2) Tap the Internals options and enter Internal menu Master key *#7092463*#
3) Tap LbsApp which can be seen at the bottom as option 12 or so.
4) Tap Navigation and select the Enable option to enable it. Tap Save and then exit.
5) The phone may restart. After restart, you will see the Navigation option in Menu.
6) Download Route66 Sync software and install it on your PC.
7) After installing Route66 Sync on your PC, connect your Jet to your PC in 'Mass Storage' mode.
8) Start the Route66 Sync on your PC. It should detect your mobile phone.
9) Follow the procedure on http://www.66.com/samsung/index.php?cid=UK&act=2&cat=2&scat=1
10) You will need to download maps for your region. Follow the procedure in mentioned in Route66Sync software support pdf.

I am deeply disappointed in this phone. The email settings just do not work. Its not a service issue, since I can surf the net fine if I launch the web browser. Also, I can only select 10 SMS respondents at a time! Even mid level Nokia and SE phones allow unlimited SMS respondents

syam, 25 Oct 2009no aceedburn, resetting dosent work. i'm now going back to ... moreyou can just reflash to S8003 firmware and take it back to the service centre. u don't have to say anything, just tel him there's a problem with the camera and they'll probably replace your motherboard.
