i need some opinions abt this phones.
... moreCons.. well the memory card being at the back is pretty inconvenient and may get annoying if you frequently remove and insert your card. Also, I have no idea why GSMArena's review says the screen is so sensitive. Truth is it's not.. but I guess that's just my opinion after using iPhone. If this is your first touchscreen your gonna love it, and yes I'm getting use to the screen now, so it's not such a big deal.
Other things such as tags on photos can get annoying to customize if you have small faces on photos.
But these problems aren't major and you can live with them without any hassle really.

i bought jet three days back.. I just want to knw the default password for setting privacy lock for messages. The default password which i was unable to find
NOTE: I tried right from 1234 to 12345678 and 0's also (It says 4 to 8 digits are required).
Please help

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2009800mhz is good.. but NO OS? no thanks..It has OS. it's just, the operating System is not the widely knows mobile phone OS like Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, etc. Jet has Samsung's proprietary OS.

I am getting a Samsung Jet tomorrow and was reading the comments on this page, is the touch screen really that bad, is it better than an LG Cookie coz my friend has that and i have experienced it so can compare!!!!

hi dear frnds. finally bought my jet on 24-9-09.. but. i am very much worried..... the camera is not oke atall...the snaps remains broken and cant be viewed and the camera too remains hagy like it is in sketch or neagtive mode ..... but the camera is at default sering...... and the volume of the loud speaker is very very low . even i am unable to hear when it is ringing and in my pocket...... plz do repy

Hi I'm Thinking of buying my wife a touchscreen wifi 3G phone, my candidates are:
Nokia 5800 xpressMusic
Samsung S8000 Jet
Samsung M8910 Pixon12
Which one should I choose? Among those I would preffer the one with the best touchscreen and of curse the least expensive among those three.

I have bought this phone and it is great. BUT its touch screen is not as good as that of the iphone. No comparison. We love this phone but let it go. No comparison. Iphone rules when it comes to the touch screen experience, intuitive OS and apps. Hands down.
And unfortunately samsung created this magnicifent phone which is NOT the best phone in 2009 as someone below said. It could have been the best phone if it was a smartphone and had a few other minor but missing functions.
Watch out for Nokia though. They are planning to take over the touchscreen smartphone industry in 2010 and reclaim the position as Kings of the industry. And they will do it whether they buy Palm, as rumored, or do it themselves.

Samsung Jet is the best phone in 2009.. definitely without any argument.. remember, it's just a normal phone, not a smart phone!! Great phone indeed.........!!!
