The Navigation works fine on Samsung jet with the ROUTE 66 software, I have it and tested it. The software is free of charge, and the maps are free too. However if you want to nevigate and receive navigation instructions you must purchase a navigation license.
Just contact ROUTE 66 at support@66.com and ask them more.

i have this phone for about 1 month and it is great,super fast phone sirsly,touch is best vs other phones and same as i-phone touch.u can save battery for 2 days with full use(call,camera,video call and music playback),camera is 5mp ,but its like 8 mp camera phones,LCD and display is realy Great!!!16milion colour and amoled made it brilliant.no problem at all with this phone, it worth much more than it's price.
love this phone!!fastest phone ever!

i was using jet for past 15 days and the phone has very good display and clarity was superb but i was disapointed with touch is not good as i phone but cam was excelent 5 megpx looks like 8 pix then i was dissapointed with browser which is not ask good as higher model as it cant open some html pages mostly it opens as a wap page but overall browser facility is good can open 5 page at a time and games so bad only some game can install
but i like this phone very much it worths for money

Has anyone run into an issue with picture message images being shrunk to about 4/5kbs? I've been tinkering with the phone and have not found a way to change the compression of images upon receipt. I am on T-Mobile USA and my Samsung Jet originated from Hong Kong.

Yoman, 22 Sep 2009I was going to swap my boring W995 with a Jet tomorrow BUT ... moreConfirm... I got the phone for 2 months now. It reacts with the thumb but it has to be pressed a bit hard. If you tried F480, there is a lot of difference on thumability of the Jet. The slightest touch on F480 gets it done. I have to live with it. But if you use stylus, wow, it's good... If you want the Jet without stylus, grow your thumb nail or your thumb will be sore..LOL

You will not need to use your fingernails but sometimes you will need to try twice to get it done, especially in sliding motions.
No other phone out there comes even close to the iphone when comparing the touchscreen expreience and also how intuitive and strightforward the OS is. And of course applications.
Those are the BIG 3 advantages of the iphone that no company in the world seems able or even willing to challenge in the near future. A shame.

Got S8003 two weeks ago. This is my first smartphone. I simply love it. All the features work perfectly. Initially had problems with G Maps and Active Sync working. Then later came to know that it was the service issue. I use Vodafone. Active Sync and G Maps dont seem work with Vodfone Live but works perfectly with Vodafone Mobile Connect. The camera is good(not extraordinary). The voice quality is pretty good. Battery life is excellent. Without using any other features, and talking about 30-40 mins makes the cell go for about 4-5 days with full charging. G Maps, G Mail, YouTube, ActiveSync, facebook all work perfectly fine. Phot browser, media player, video recorder are all good. The only thing that this phone lacks is good quality games and higher internal memory. Also the lack of standard mini USB is a let down but can live with it. All in all a good phone and value for money.
