I was going to swap my boring W995 with a Jet tomorrow BUT some people said that the resistive screen is as crappy as 5800,which means using your fingernails instead of fingers...

To those who are really interested in jet.
Samsung jet is a device which looks cool and beautiful.
Even if it has some short comings its worth a buy.
Its a classic phone from samsung.
Any phone has its own pros and cons.
Let guys join nasa n watever with other phones.
With jet u have style,looks,beauty and ofcourse can make calls.
Nice screen,good speed,satisfying camera,great responsiveness.
Cool phone.

kourosh, 20 Sep 2009it seems perfect... absolutely i ll buy itanyway buy it!i changed my broken symbian to this phone,it is amazing phone,oled wvga screen has no competitor outside of japan at the moment also i found out that jet's not open os is much better & usefull then outdated symbian60

This phone is still not good, not compared to the Sony Ericsson s500i who's probably the best phone ever made. It's also nearly waterproof, s8000 has Nothing against the Sony Ericsson s500i.

hey i figured out a way 2 install java apps on my s8003 .
Earlier i had a fileexplorer app on my nokia 6270 (also java ), for hiding some files but now the same app aint wrkin on s8003.
Searched on net but cudnt find sch a wrkin app for s8003 .can somebody help

The sound is pretty loud. By pretty loud "very" depends on what you are refering to, for movies, you can adjust the volume during conversion to mp4 or 3gp. I max mine upto +200%, together withe mp4 movie and volume of 8000 set to 14 (max) is very very loud.... you will make ppl around you anoid.!!! Love this phone, but i had to give it up due to CANT record phone calls!

hey i bought it ystrday .. its s8003 jet though ...
till now m satisfied with its performance..
but i have a problem here, some ppl hav mentiond tht .jar and .jar softwares work in it ,but
i chckd it nd it says tht fie format is not supported
..can somebody plz tell me whr to find softwares for this fone

This phone is nothing. Nothing compared to the Sony Ericsson S500i who's also recomended by the U.S. government and NASA.

Is there any way to transfer word, excel, powerpoint or pdf documents through the PC Studio? Can you actually store these types of file or can you only view them through internet? Thanks for the help.
