O by the way one more question, is there Msn on the Jet and is there skype if not what other option do I have for webcam chat or video calling

i tot this was the perfect anti-iphone answer.
think again.
1) phn prompts u to del smses after jus 300 (i cant find the option to store it anywhr in my 2gb int memory or 16gb mem card - (wtfff)
my previous SE w902 cld store smses in the memory card for MONTHS and thr was NO NEED to delete anything at all!
2) first 30smses seem to b AUTOMATICALLY stored in ur sim card and thr doesnt seem to b a way arnd this bug (wtf)
3) video/audio playback is way too soft. level 14? cmon. they shd up it to at least 17 or 18 and let us decide which level is too high for us - cant hear nuts when ur on a bus or on a train (wtf)
4) recent contacts list disappears randomly - requires restart of phone which erases the list which defeats the purpose of the list (wtf)
5) cant surf facebook/hotmail full site and wifi signals are always poor - always 1 or 2bars max - never full (wtf)
if anyone has a solution to the abv problems pls enlighten me - or this phone is history - ergo iphone still wins.

If a feature phone is fine, then go for Jet as the display is awesome. When I play HD AVI movies in it, it looks even better than a PC LCD monitor.
The center button is a menu/task manager button.

Well here it goes, I really want the Jet but my friends keep telling me wait for the nokia E72 so i am pretty confused about which to get :s so please help me out with that. and by the way is the center button on the Samsung jet a GO BACK button or a MENU button ? o any other options would be great my budget is 500 $

To all fellow S8000 Jet users: do you notice that when you record a video, and it saves it, for example as video #0008 and you then delete it, the next video you take is saved as #0009? Does this mean that the previous video is not deleted and is saved in the memory still? If anyone can help or clarify this please reply! Thanks.

chani, 10 Aug 2009best phone in the market ultra fast procesadorI would say that JET can become (already is?) one of the best phones on the market if Samsung listens to it's users in order to solve some problems. Nokia and Apple are very aware of this specially nokia on latest models.
It's all about support...

Hi guys, I wonder if any of you can help:
I have just bought a Samsung Jet and it is branded to Orange. I have an O2 sim card though....Can you rebrand it to O2 or just to a basic firmware?
Does this firmware then allow me to go on O2's mobile internet amongst other things?
