Hi guys!
i am living in saudi arabia and only s8003 is available.
there is no network crap over here like orange and vodafone.
u hav 2 just buy da fone and put any network SIM card over here
i was impressed by the review pretty much of s8000 but should i go and buy s8003?
Is it exactly the same as the s8000 jet over here??
Plz help me out.

I've been to 2 places in Manila [MOA and MegaMall, samsung and non-samsung stores]that sell this phone, and all of them sell the s8003 version, price ranges from 20k - 22k

That'll get rid of your Network rubbish, I want to do it eventually but I want to back my phone up first but NPS won't let me.

Network providers load their own software full of crap before sending out the handset. Its very annoying, not sure how to get round it, there are ways to debrand the phone back to factory setting which will have more widgets and apps pre-installed.
I've already returned mine back to orange in exchange of another phone. Disappointing

Guys, I have flashed my mobile from S8003 to S8000. Everything is working fine except the GPS. Its not detecting any satellite. Can some one help.

Great screen, but leaves a lot of finger prints, and you have to lock it to wipe as wiping it unlocked activates widgets or apps due to the very responsive screen. Very annoying

recieved it this morning, have had a play with it for a few hours. Decent first impression, but I have a feeling I'm going to get bored of it within a couple of months. Already regret not picking the HTC Hero instead

but luckily the contacts and calendar schedule can be easily synchronized using the NPS :)
