anish, 25 Jul 2009i intend to purchase Jet S8003 but here in mumbai a samsung... moreI bought it from Kolkata, since in my town the dealer quoted 22000 too, But it cost 20500 in kol.
The features are there in the review, check it out.
AMOLED, 5Mp ( Anti shake ), wifi to name a few.

      DR R, 25 Jul 2009how can we remove the existing widgets,kindly tell.Disabling widgets? Theres an option, the first one in the widget list, wherein you can disable whatever widget you want..

      And i also got a stylus, though i dont need it. Why do you need one for browsing? You can use the one finger zoom, its amazing.

            I just bought the jet ( S8003 ) in india, It cost me 20500 INR ( 2GB internal memory, no mem card ).

            The phone overall is great. Great sound, great browser, installed a few java apps as well. The touch screen is responsive. Wifi is working ok as well, ( works well with WPA2-PSK).
            I still couldn't get the GPS working, ( have to figure out how to ).
            Haven't tested the video ( Divx ) features yet.
            The camera is good. It has anti shake, 5Mp, and is pretty good. The widgets are removeable .. Waiting for samsung to release SDK, so more widgets can show up.
            As usual, samsung included only trial games..
            Google maps work.

            Overall, I am enjoying the Jet experience. I think its a good buy.

                did anyone get get the 8gb phone?co it says internal memory 2gb/8gb. as far as i know,there is only the 2gb around issit?
                and anyone knows how to determine whether the fon is s8000 or s8003? coz i really wanna get the s8000 version.

                  MK, 25 Jul 2009Can we download and use SKYPE on the Jet? CheersAs I overstand it you can not install skype on this as yet there no standard support. But if you get hold of the 3network (UK network)firmware it has it build into the 3network version of the handset.

                      Do you know where I can download extra widgets for this phone? I found this site http://www.jetwidget.com/ but it has no widgets there.

                        Hi. I am having Jet since last 10 days (I am using mobiles since 17 years & used Nokia, SE, Iphone. Samsung, it is my first mobile). Operationally + functionally phone is OK. Picture & sound quality Far better then other all makes. Now, I want to know that thro' PC studio, how can we take back-up on PC or Memory card as we can take in SE or Nokia ?? I want to delete my old nos. from my simcard but I can't delete & copy new latest nos. thro' Jet as it is asking pin no. Now which pin no. it is asking ?? Pls. answer immediately. Thanks in advance.
