To know the difference between 8000 and 8003, flash the 8003 with the XEIF8 which is available. If something goes wrong, then 8003 is really different. If everything is OK, then, there is no difference. I would surely do that but the problem is the Jet is not yet available here. I thought Jet is fast. It's taking so long to land here jejeje I mean huhuhu.

What a bummer. I was really inclined to buy this over the N86 and W995 because of the superb display and good reviews at http://www.mobile-review.com , but the thing is im really getting worried over this S8003 model. It is different from the S8000 and most users of the S8003 models have lots of complaints. Why couldn't they have just released one universal Samsung Jet model? This sucks as I live in the Philippines and so far, only the S8003 model is being sold here.

Samsung is hurting her self...AGAIN!
S8000 user rate and opinion is getting lower because of S8003. All most every negative opinion is related with S8003.
Wrong Samsung since S8003 is eclipsing S8000. In simple words: wrong time to market, wrong marketing and wrong versioning. What are you thinking? That someone buying S8003 would just shut up?
I had a S5600 before returning it because of identical problem (different versions). If fact I phoned Samsung and they confirmed they had advertised wrong technical information. The problem was they were selling in my country a version that was different from what was advertised. LOL!
Simple note to every one: Be careful with what you are buying.

Done the following and solved:
- after running any java app go to task manager and press END ALL APPLICATIONS. worked for me.

I am using this phone last 3 weeks. its great, But i dont know why last few days battery is going off very quickly. do not stay even one day for normal use ( ave 1 hour talking and 5 sms, thats all)
Can any one tell me what's the reason ?

Is it "S8000" you are talking about or "S8003"? Here in Pangasinan "SM CARMEN", available model is only S8003. Pls provide Samsung store location...Thanks!

S8003 doesn't have GPS so... morethe diffrence between S8003 & S8000 :
S8003 : No 3rd GPS ( only google maps ) , for asia market , supporte asian & middle east languages . no software update (still) .
S8000 : you can download route66 Navigation SW , for EU market , has an SW update .

guys, just wondering if Gsmarena made a true statement about the sunlight legibility of this phone's screen? from what i've seen on mobile review, this phone suppose to have a much better view under bright sunlight than any TFTs. And i also seen the video of how this phone performs under bright sunlight, it looked great! anyone can confirm this?
