People were saying you cant delete the widgets that you dowanload to the jet but you can with the following steps.
1. open the widget bar on the left
2. scroll right to the top and open the settings
3. on the top right it will be set to offline change this to online. this will show the widgets that have been downaloaded and at the bottom the option to delete them!

Samsung Jet have an official page on facebook. you guys might want to check it out. lots of ineresting there,especially about the firmware bugs. Hope it helps

Hehehe, lol, this is really funny...he should have read the manual and checked his box for stuffs before commenting,, huh? The Jet is cool and foxy...just enough and not too much for conservative individuals like me...got the unit for quite some time now and i am pretty satisfied...

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2009I do not remmember reading user opinions with those problem... moreI checked compatibility and I was able to connect to the internet like normal and it worked but once I minimize it disconnects. I also have another problem, I can't download widgets.. when I connect to the internet via the more widgets widget I got O widgets for anything I select meaning there is something wrong.
I have the S8003 btw, the new version is the S8000 :(

Hi,
Can this phone be used for VOIP calls.If not will accept third party apps
Is voice dialling available.
Support for text to speech.

Cam is clear on my Jet, inline with Arena review photos. If you have problems with cam you may have a faulty phone. Use warranty.
Have you checked your AccessPoint for compatibility problems? Some old APs may act in a very strange way. Test with another AP.
I may be wrong but I dont think a new firmware will solve your problems. Even earliest firmware was very stable and does not have those problems.

why is everyone saying its very good?! I'm really not happy with my jet I've got a couple of problems like the camera isn't so clear, internet doesn't stay online and disconnects when minimizing the app using the internet and I can't download widgets????
Am I the only one? Please help me.
Someone at a samsung forum told me that I need to update my firmware but I can't since my language is not yet supported in the new firmware :( I'm so unhappy!!

1.Yes u can use the led during video.It switches on automatically if u select night mode or indoors or one of those dun remember which
2.still waitin for some1 to clear the memory ques. From wht i can see, 1.5Gigs is for media, 500 Megs is shared between games, msgs, mails and organiser. I think the prob is not for java, it's for the widgets since u cant delete widgets and mem gets full if u dl 2 3 more..
