My Samsung S8000 Jet has just died! I am having a nightmare trying to get answers to this. Contractors Orange say that there are no problems with this phone but when I looked online other people have had this happen to them too. I took the phone to the Orange shop (no joy) phoned Orange twice and Samsung twice who now have asked me take the phone to the Car Phone Warehouse as it is a SOFTWARE PROBLEM so be aware of this if you are indeed using this phone. It needs a software update!!!!!

am still looking forward of this phone to be available again in the market... I have heard they are upgrading the OS to Android and becomes JetDroid.. haha

if you are fan of andrioid buy android phone if you are not
this phone is perfect fast cpu brilliand display colours ( very poor in sunlight) this is bad minus
high mp3 volume can play java games the camera is very fine double flash .. strong flash front camera
what do you want more ...
display is not fine as iphnoe this is bad but its perfect in no sunlight places i bought it soon and im satisfied

rocky, 03 Jan 2011guys, usually ilang hours bago malowbat ang samsung jet nyo... morehi rocky, naku same problem here BEFORE. take note the word before. hehe. have you read any blog about this phone before?? sabi kasi nagkaron ng problem ang samsung sa pagpoproduce ng batteries for this phone. ang sabi may mga batch na di maganda ang yari. kumbaga madaling malowbat. pagkamalas e isa tayo sa mga nakakuha. ang ginawa ko nalang pinapalitan ko yung battery ko sa pinagbilan ko so many times hanggang sa makakuha ako ng maganda ang buhay na battery. Ngayon umaabot lang naman ng 7 days ang bat ko. heheeh.. di ko kasi ginagamit ^^

I am a 11-month user of this phone and i encounter the same thing for about hundred times I think. This causes when you view your photos on photo browser right? the phone must hold horizontally coz the it required you to do so. When you hold the phone not properly, well like you hold it a little bit diagonal, the photos will really slide. Jet is almost smartphone that's why when you do handle it diagonally, it reads that you want to skip several photos. It is more likely falling down. So the solution is, hold it properly. ^^
But this only applies if the phone is functioning well. I am not that professional when it comes to technical problems and the like so if my suggestion didn't work or you're still experiencing the same thing after doing my advice, then your phone is having some serious problem ^^ I hope this help^^

I finally have my jet and it´s better than i thought it would be. Love it. Everything is easy to use.
The battery life: with heavy/medium usage last for two days. I think with normal use lasts 3/4 days. But i will ask for a recent SIM sim card for it, because mine is too old and consumes extra battery life, and the battery life will be much better. About 7 days with normal use.
Buy it!!!

Hi. I purchased this phone a couple of weeks ago from a shop in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. The battery seems to be draining quite fast. I charged it fully this morning at 9am and by 6pm two out of five blocks of the battery indicator dissappeared, and that too without making or receiving a single call. Can someone please help?

Have been using this phone for 13 months now, I have to say its a value for money phone-
Pros are- 1)nice display 2)Surprisingly good camera 3)the video player is the best thing as it supports divx and xvid format and can play videos upto 480p 4)Audio quality is nice 5)Touch sensitivity is on par 6)Net browsing experience is good using opera mini...
Cons are- 1)no good softwares as it runs touch wiz2 2)i dint know about others but i faced problems with the phone after 4 months, it hanged due to moisture but now its working fine....
Therefore anyone who wants a good media player/phone can go for it...

Bought this phone a year ago...
The best on its class.
Video-out is excellent. I modded a tv out cable and works perfectly. Mine is dark violet so it looks so elegant and sexy. I play full screen games and motion sensor games as well.
Buy a phone and know its strengths and dwell on it.
