guys i have a problem with my WiFi when i coonect to my wifi modem it connects but when i open the internet page it stays loading the page and after i whait very long the mobile restarts so what can i do?

I'd like to buy it for my dad, he insist he MUST have a smartphone but I know he doesn't need it. So I think I can pretend it's a 'real' smaptphone. Is it a VERY bad idea? Is it a phone for a special person? 'Special' means a person who is absolutely sure he knows how to use modern devices when he can't. Any ideas? Please, I desperately need help. If not jet, which one? My dad is in love with all the beautiful colours and samsung display and icons and so on. He used my wave s8500 and loved it. I don't like s8500 so I no longer use it. But my dad wants a similar phone.

i am loving my samsung jet. i bought it primarily for its ability to play divx videos. add to that the quality of amoled display and its low price (when i bought it at mega exchange for 9.9k), then i have a winner for my needs.
sure it has its misgivings (battery life - 3 hours of video only on full charge, no popular os, etc), but it still counts as one of the best for what i could afford :)
if budget is of no conxern though, feature wise, id rather have the samsung wave.

About the battery problem, here in portugal we can go to the store, (TMN, Vodafone, etc) and "ask" for/order a new SIM card, wich cost 10€, and the battery life will be much much better. I can tell by some friends and some forums where i ask for this question.

when i bought my phone sa mege exchange ,, they offered me a protector ,, siguro that was the THIN type ,, kc para lng tlagang film,, parang sticker lang,, yet so xpensive P200+,, thats why hindi ako nag avail,, hehe,
about your repair,, im hoping na sana covered pa din ng warranty ,, finger crossed,, :)

can u play youtube videos using your jet?? mine is s8000, with wifi i really cant play youtube videos, tried those post sa mga forums sa internet, yet ganun pa din , ayaw tlaga buffering lang or connected, done also ung desktop mode ung youtube,, pero it shows only sa display portion ung logo ng FLASH,,

yeah the touch screen digitizer has been damage cause of the screen film (screen protector), bumili kasi ako ng screen guard, and i thought that it was good, but i wonder why the screen film was thick... yun pala mirror type yung screen film... which is not suitable to resistive screen like the samsung jet... dapat clear "thin" screen film dapat... i just red it from a forum site a week ago...and I'm so stupid dapat nun palang aware na ko sa mga screen guards...well its my fault... T_T , haist... tomorrow ill go to Samsung Store to fix my Jet... I hope the warranty will be valid due to my reason... T_T

Parreira, 03 Jan 2011I am gonna buy one jet soon, so i need to know if it´... moreWell, Samsung Jet is definitely good, but the battery is quite bad,it didn't last long, only takes 18 hours (based on my observation) , but be careful in choosing brand of screen protector, my jet's touch screen digitizer got crash cause of the screen guard, and need to bring it on Samsung store to fix it, but I'm bothered if the phone parts is included in the warranty... T_T

Guys, may problem ako sa S8000 Jet ko, my touch screen is not working, i think nasira yung Touch Screen Digitizer, but I still have 1 year warranty sa samsung, just want to ask if the parts is included in the 1 yr warranty?..or i have to pay for the digitizer?... and how many days kaya bago magawa yun?... thanks...
