Hardware problems = very poor battery-life and very bad sunlight legibility.
Software problems = almost useless GPS( I have the navigator version with Route66 software )
Good for web browsing and decent music player,
but without a good battery all these are cancelled..!!

Will the Jet work in the UK with a 3 Sim card on the Three.co.uk network. I have tried to ask three via the chat function, but they said that they can only answer sales questions.

g.p.s is very poor...
not working in my bedroom (indoor)
outside also it is taking ages of time.
........my friend's n82 is getting position is 2 seconds.....
dont buy this phone.........
no software instalations
poor gps chip
touch screen is about average...
pictures at night time are veryy poor........
music is also average.
only it is good at :
day pics.
screen quality.

The user interface is quite good as well and the phone is very responsive. The screen resolution is the BEST in the market as of now. Even better than iPhone. Although one should not compare its touch experience with that of iPhone. The most important point, it is a good 35% cheaper than N97 mini. The camera is pretty cool as well. All in all its a good phone. Go get it!

Am thinking of buying either the S5620 Monte or the S8000 Jet. These phones have different screens. So my question is Resistive or Capacitive best to use?

i often wonder why most user tend to compare jet and omnia 2 when in fact they have different spects and target audience. let's start omnia 2 is a window's mobile phone where jet is just a non smart phone with just a branding of "smarter than a smartphone" for its processor and specs. price-wise here in the philippines jet is around 16k and omnia 2 is around 29k. see the difference? i don't need to elaborate more. it's just that when you compare make sure it's in almost the same page and not in a totally different level. if i too have the money then i would go for omnia 2. but jet offers me almost all the things that i need in a phone. it plays xvid/divx, a 5 mpx cam, good music player, wifi, bluetooth. 3.5 mm connector. tv out. im an easy to please end user not the type who always blabber. if you have the money then go ahead and buy an omnia which i doubt coz in the firstplace you wont be here in the jet page if u have an omnia 2. hmmmm anyways let's just respect their learning pace. but i can tell you im a very satisfied samsung jet user.

The touchscreen on the jet is quite sensitive, I have been using it for quite somrtine now. in fact its more responsive to the fingers than the stylus...
The battery life is also quite good...
One real good phone..

dear JD..
i have bought this phone only a month,,n i already realized why's many owner of jet complaining his mobile.becoz this phone is only have a few of dump applications.my suggest,,if u r looking for a fuel of fun.this is not the one.try n97mini.or another of samsung mobiles.like omnia 2.goodluck for u.bravo samsung.!

The jet has a resistive screen which is not sensitive - meaning U don't get a quick response when U use the screen. Need patience when U key in characters. Try sliding your fingers across the Monte's screen (which is capacitive) and the Jet's; you will know what I meant.
