i m very much satisfied with jet ss8003 ,,,,,,,it doesnt hangs like nokia ,processor is really fast,watch movie is pleasent experience though sound quality is lower in inbuilt speaker but headphone gives 5.1 surround effect whch is great,camera is also good ,video reacording is very good with very good sound output,overall in its budget this phone is gr8 buy,,,,,,,,far better thn most of nokia n series

Hello everyone....I am using samsung jet s8003 from last one month and my experience is not satisfactory at all. I am facing lot of problems like....frequent discharge of battery, its hangs like hell and the only solution is to remove battery and restart it, google maps are also not working..... I have consult samsung service station two times but nothing is going right.....Guys who want to purchase it please rethink and go for some other good set.

when it is compared to sonyericsson picture clarity is poor especially in night pics sound is also very poor
is an open sound like some local phone. THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THEME SETTINGS LIKE SONY ERICSON

Hi guys i m using samsung jet for 1 month i got it 4 only 13.5 k and at this range its a great phone with 5 mp camera and full touch screen and no doubt a jet processing speed . i m completely satisfied with this phone and also a small suggestion for those who are comparing this phone with nokia n 97 mini . then first go and whatch that worst phone's camera quality and as usual freezing problem that is genetic to all nokia devices and the worst battery life. again a dust filled phone by nokia.
i recomend samsung jet for those who are confuded betten jet and n 97 mini

camera is good especially during night pix. very bright flash. however during daytime and documents my mini n97 is better, but poor on night pix.

does anyone know how to edit the t9 dictionary? i've owned mine 6 months or so and its started making up its own words, mostly nonsense. good phone otherwise.

Hi I have been using the Jet since Dec 09. I find that the phone works great.
It is the kind of phone that is great on its own.
even thought it is capable of supporting up to 16GB of external added memory, Sad but true, there isn't alot of app (almost none) that can be use with this current samsung os. So it is preety much a useless phone if you want to have different kind of app on it.
No point getting a phone with high prossor and great screen picture quility but no app to use it on.
(maybe there will be in about another 2years)
If you like a simple phone that is fast and awesome, this is the phone.If you like a phone that can dl and support many cool apps, this phone is shit for you.

Am thinking of buying either the S5620 Monte or the ... morethe two types of screens have their own pros and cons..
for me, if jet came with a capacitive screen, it would be a whole lot better..
but think first.. you are comparing two phones of different price ranges.. are you going to swap Divx/Xvid capable,WVGA amoled screen, 5mp AF/Dual LED and VGA Video recording, and 2gb internal memory of samsung jet to that of capacitive screen, touchwiz 2.0 plus and new UI of samsung monte?
it's up to you..
however, they say that samsung stopped the production of jet, neither can i find a brand new unit of it here in our place..
