I've had my Samsung Jet for more than a week now and thanks to the articles here in GSM Arena about how to use the unit and its features, it took me very little time to get used to it (I'm a regular Sony Ericsson user). Its a pretty nifty cellphone however there's no option for you to get your cursor backwards except by tapping the screen where you want to place it & that's a little difficult when you have big fingers with nails filed very short, it only has the backspace which deletes what you previously typed, so correcting a misspelling is a bit of a chore.
The camera performs well at 5 MP but the images of Sony Ericsson are better in terms of sharpness.
Also,the PC Suite won't install properly in my laptop running on Windows Vista Business, neither would it install properly in my other laptop running on Windows 7. The icon is there but once I try to open it the PC Suite would automatically shut down in just after a few seconds. Going to the Samsung website was no help either.
My wife got the Samsung Galaxy Spica & I had been trying to connect our units for the past several days via Bluetooth to exchange pictures and music to no avail, despite repeated attempts to pair the Jet & Spica, meticulously following the step by step procedure of doing so. The Spica's touchscreen is also not at par with Jet to say the least.
Can anyone help me out regarding these glitches? Thank you in advance, will surely appreciate it.
I tried to uninstall it and re-install it several times and its the same.

Voice quality than the Sony Ericsson is good, but not good anyway.

I use Samsung s8000. I was scroling on the phone one day and i saw where they wrote 'welcome to 3G' and i uttered it under settings since then the phone has stopped working. What am i going to do because i just bought the phone? Someone should help me please.

Can someone help me? I seem to be unable to play youtube videos on my new Samsung Jet and I updatet its firmware via Samsung PC Suite. I know it has full flash support but it doesn't work :( I even set the page to desktop view in the browser and it still doesn't load the video...just a little ''flash'' logo appears in the middle of the video frame.

vash, 29 May 2010maybe you activate the slow motion recording...try to learn... more i have been using panasonic video camera for past 4 years and i know how to operate the video camera.
i have gone inside out of the samsung jet camera settings , still there was a fraction of second delay delay in image appearence in view finder ( this is causing significant blurring of moving objects ). just move your finger in front of the camera and see it in view finder . you can easily appreciate delay.
i will just check out in service centre about any defect in my handset

i just got my s8003 mobile, prob is that callers name is not being displayed at times, despite the fact ive got zt caller name in my phonebook.. same for SMS..!
