i have used this phone,but you can't say that sjet is too good phone,but it's some features are good,but you can just say that it's doubt creater phone. It's sale also depend on the specify need of people.

fone, 31 May 2010people what should i buy? samsung jet , lg gt505 or nokia 5800?Samsung Jet is at par with LG Arena. Their specs n feauture are almost identically.

If you're looking for a phone with 3 homescreens with widgets then that would be a Jet indeed. But based on the problems I had been having regarding the PC Suite installation and total lack of software support from Samsung on it, as well as the technical glitches like the lack of memory to run multiple applications, this Jet may not be the one for you. It has excellent multi-media features but the sunlight legibility is terrible also.
Having used different Nokia and Sony Ericsson units in the past I still say these two brands has the least problems & glitches and may offer you the better options. Samsung needs to do a lot of fine-tuning in the units they offer and they need to develop better configuration of their softwares to make it more user-friendly and readily compatible with most computers.

Amith and Sextant,
I bought an 8 Gig memory card for my Jet and so far I've had no problem with hanging. However, when I have 2 applications open a dialog box appears saying that there is not enough memory available to open a third application. If we are dealing with a laptop or desktop computer then the culprit would be insufficient RAM. Anyway try buying a memory card, a 4 Gig one would be enough but if your problem persists then you may need expert advice from the nearest Samsung Service Center.
Sextant, there is no TV out cable included in the box, I had to buy mine separately. I tried hooking it up with 3 different TV sets, a Sony, a Sharp and a TCL, NONE displayed the items in my gallery. This is one feature that may require either an upgrade or maybe designed for high-end LCD or LED TV units only. Any technical advice from anyone out there...?

i am planning to buy this phone..previously have se t68i,sharp gx15 se k700i,motorola v3i, v360,nokia n73 and finally nokia n82.i have all phones still working except se t68i.(stolen). nokia are very good smartphones.....symbian rules but very boring!!!!!!! i was thinging to buy Samsung i8910i or nokia n8 due to camera.N82 rocks due to xenon.Anyway i want a phone not a smartphone anymore......what did you say people???about specs of this phone are enough for me.

To me the sound of the Jet is Amaizing, better than the iPhone or any other Nokia, the sound of music is too high, very clear and the Megabass is awsome, but actually I prefer to hear music with the WowHD profile =)

Rocky, 28 May 2010Hello everyone....I am using samsung jet s8003 from last on... morehi folks...i just got this s8003 jet ,say 3 weeks back n no doubt it has got good features everythin including cmaera n sound but from last week its not functioning properly...it hangs a lot n not even a single appln will open n only way is to remove battery!!!but wen switched on again same symptoms...wat is the solution!!?
