Suprising you guys are facing a lot of problems with the S8300. Well i have been using this fone for 11 months and haven't faced problems on battery life, camera (you need to know how to change pic resolution settings) great pics and video. My son who is a lettle less than 2 throws the fone at times and its still perfect. I had a choice between the I-phone and the S8300 i choose the later, the best fone i came across no regrets, now my bro-in-law wants one S8300.
USE THE FONE WITH CARE IT SERVES YOU WELL.

bern, 16 Feb 2010how do i transfer photos from computer to phone???the most easiest way is, just go to setting - phone setting - pc connection and select as mass storage. then connect to pc through usb data cable. u can copy photos and music, etc. but if u wants to transfer contact or msgs, then u should install samsung pc studio, which they have given along with the mobile.

look vise this is a nice phone but functanility vise its a worst phone ever the cost of this phone is 21000 but the only mager function in this phone is camera 8 mega pixel but picture quality of this phone is worst worst and worst..........

Had this phone for about 9 months now and within 6 months the display started to switch off on its own when i would open or close the slider until it totally gave out. Gave it to the service center to be fixed under warranty and got it back from them with a dead keypad and now the speaker and the loud speaker are starting to die on me. The earpiece stops working at random intervals and then i have to switch on the loud speaker for a second and revert back to the earpiece after which it starts working again. Getting rid of this phone and will never bother looking at another Samsung slider phone again...
