Hi,
I just wanted to know the response of msg typing with the KEYPAD??
Is it the same bad response noticed whlle typing the msg through the touchscreen or better than that....?
And one thing more, the sound quality of the music on loudspeakers??

Hey.. what phone would be better samsung jet or s8300 (or any other phone for that mattEr that has a good camera, is touch screen, is nt 2 big and overall good functioning)? and whY? im currently siding more towards the s8300, but they are alot of complaints... i woUld really appreciate some opinions tnx

i've just recently got one of these phones and i love it!....the style, the 8mp cam and all its gadgets, i would recommend this phone to anyone, but i'm a die hard samsung fan,

Has anyone tried the 3rd party battery upgrades to 1500 and 1800mAH ? Did they work all right ?
Also I can not seem to tap the message agea and get an on screen keyboard [non QWERTY] to appear. Do I need to flash my phone ?
I find texting cumbersome too but in general I like the phone and glad I bought it last week. Hope my luck continues.

for concrete - you can change it by deactivating the divert setting. follow this steps.
1. go to setting
2. choose application settings
3. choose call
4. choose call divert
5. then select cancel all
if it still wont work, try canceling the call barring setting.

I'm still finding my way with the S8300. One thing that phone doesn't appear to have is a follow up tone beep to any unopened messages. Coming off a Motorola VX3 which had this feature, I must say it can be annoying to find message has been parked on the phone for a time unnoticed. Maybe their is a phone setting to activate this feature???

Menu - Settings - Application settings – Call - All Calls - Answering machine - Activation (change it to off) after that press (save) in the bottom
