Excellent screen quality (not touch) and the inclusion of a keypad saved me from smashing this phone off the ground!!! The touch screen is not good at all and cannot match the iphone for ease of use. I also find the phone very slow with plenty of lag which is annoying, but maybe to do with the fact I can't get an update on the 3 Ireland network for firmware. The camera is also not so good in poor light as the flash is not so good and sometimes makes everything too white! Also the battery life is not good I have to charge it every night. I had the LG Renoir before this and returned it after a week as it was total rubbish! I'm sick of buying rubbish mobiles packed with gimmichs that don't work good at all, If I don't get an very expensive Iphone as my next phone, I will get something for free when my contract is renewed, I seriously don't think I could justify spending so much on a phone again, more than I have already that is! I have had this phone since late June, the touch screen is brilliant.. TXT'ing on this phone can be a royal pain in the butt, but its better then most phones I have used.. it is seriously responsive, it just takes time to get used to the handset..
only con is that its T9 isn't the best.. But hey this phone is more of a camera with a phone attached, with an fantastic 8MP camera, I don't mind taking an extra min to write a text...

can i have on this phone fring (program) as in nokia, and by the way this program enables anyone to chat or have voice call.... this program needs wifi or 3G to work.... so please anyone can support me with an answer?

Trish, 18 Aug 2009I've has this phone for over 2 months now. I've had it tot... moresimple solution just flash it with different firmware.it is not fone fault it is bad operator's software!flash it!i had useless orange soft but since i put new soft on it it works exellent

Can anybody tell me how I can install programs on my Samsung S8300, I am send few symbian programs from pc via bluetooth on my phone, but when I try to use that programs my phone write me unsuported files, what I need rar or zip or some else.... thanx

Fern, 03 Nov 2009Anyone know if you can turn the key sounds off(the numbers)... moreGo to Settings, -> Phone profiles -> choose your profile with >> then on top of the screen you have a drop down menu with Incoming, New Message and Phone sounds, choose phone sounds, scroll down to Phone sound Volume and set you desired volume.

hey every1 i bought this cell 2 month ago but i have a problem and i wish if anyone can help me please i'm getting crazy i've puted the call alert type on melody and the call alert volume on 7 but when the fone ring it start low then raise the melody the an option raising melody but am not using it is there anything can i do plz help 10x in advence :)
