The Phone is really nice, But as almost all of the comments say the battery has to be charged almost everyday. I don't see any other problem. I've had this phone for about 2months now, Its really gorgeous. Almost Everybody adores my phone and wishes it was theirs, I have no problem with this phone and I will not change it until it really needs a lot of repairs or it gets really old.

Hello there everybody!!! I tell you this phone is great for taking pictures and listening to music. it goes great on this chapter. but he you want something else from it you should buy your self another phone! The battery pack does't goes much then several hours if you'll stay on the internet. the gps doesn't always works, the Screensaver can't be turned odd and problems could in on including the typing which is not like you were expected. The settings area is limited and does't gives you the confidence you need. so you should think twice if this is the phone you want!

1. go to setings and then to profile settings and then to normal
now just see up when u opened the normal profile u can see inc" then click on that and u can understand the rest of the procedure

this phone is good in my view ive had it for 6months now i like the camera and the user interface
but i have to say its not the easiest ever phone to use and i think that 200 texts msg memory isnt good enough my previous phone had 1000+ anyway its a matter of taste

To change Normal message tones:-
From Main screen select the following-
-Menu
-Settings
-Phone profiles
-In here select a setting you want to change and touch the ">>" for options
-Select "New messages" (this can be located in drop down box on top right hand corner)
-Select or touch "Message alert tones"
-Select "sounds" (on bottom right of screen)
-Select your tones from your files
-Select "ADD"
-Select "Save"......... done
Changing message tones for Personal Contacts:-
From Main screen select the following-
-Phonebook
-Select a contact name
-Edit
-Add more fields (located in the middle on the bottom of your screen)..... this will give you a whole list of options for you to add more fields for that contact
-Scroll down and select or tick "message tone"
-Select "done"
-Select (touch) on "message tone"
-Select "speical tone" .... (this let you select your own downloaded tones or you can just select message tone 1, 2, 3 or 4)
-Select "change"
-Select your tones from your files
-Select "ADD"
-Select "select" (on bottom left of your screen)
-Select "save"........ done :)

Have this phone(Red one) for two weeks now, a really nice phone. Feels and looks like an elegant device.
Camera is awesome, there's so many settings to tweak here I'm sure everyone will find a customization according to their taste. Touch screen is very responsive even to the slightest of touches. Music especially on the samsung headset is superb.
My gripes(so far):
1)...and a BEEG No.1- Texting is really bad compared to eg. Nokia T9 thus taking ages to even sms. No "hard" Direction,Clear,Enter keys wich really let the physical keypad down esp whilst texting or using IM software. The return key in the center should have been an enter key with a 4 way directional button around it.
2) Not much applications/games out there for it at the moment. Would be nice to have some games that make use of the accelerometer.
3) Only one home screen which scrolls up or down and unfortunately the widgets cannot be locked and always move around when trying to scroll the home screen, this is very annoying only suggestion here is not to use too many widgets and line them up to either left or right of the phone so you have scrolling space
4) You cannot change the Screen saver only the wallpaper...sigh, such a basic feature but omitted nonetheless
5) Mine(in S.A.) only cames with Google maps which I dont prefer as it charges for data usage. Would be nice to have a GPS software pre installed that has the option to make use of the GPS receiver only and not A-GPS thus not eating away at my wallet.
6) Battery life also lets the phone down, with the brilliant screen and camera the battery really lets it down thus having to charge it everyday,unless you rarely use phone,but where's the point in that.
7) Back cover seems cheap and tends to scratch easily.

i bought this phone from a friend and i regret it why i bought this phone.
battery is really a problem. it only takes 12 hours. i always charge this everyday... compared to other phones like nokia n95, lg gm200, etc.
the processor is very slow. then response time is very slow maybe because of the processor.
sometimes people can't hear me whenever they call or i make a call.
i will definitely bring this phone to the service centre.
never buy this model.

I have had this phone now for 3 month and it is awesome except for the GPS. The GPS almost never gets a signal. I have driven across the country several times and not once have I kept the GPS signal all the way, No GPS signal is received for about 80% of the time. Is this a problem experienced by others or is it just my handset ?

The phone is really great.It has a touch class and slickness.Have it for more than 5months and I am happy. Nice pictures,nice touch screen, nice reactivity in short you can count on it!
