I am a user of S8300 and i got to say, this mob rocks.
Battery life is not so bad.It last 2 days with soft use.
Only Disadvantage is the wireless.But it is written in the specs, so someone knows it b4 buying it.
Do you have any sites for S8300 ?Regarding games,software?

this is for the Gsmarena admins: it records fast motion clips is D1 resolution as well, not VGA :)

hi,
ive had the s8300 for quite a while now and whenever i take a video in loud places it doesnt record the noise and is very distorted. and the vibrate has stopped working. any got any solutions or had the same problems??

mar mat, 05 Sep 2009I forget about java problem, i dont know why but 80% java g... morehere's the answer to the java problem, tap in *#6984125*#, this will bring up a menu. Tap on internals, thentype in *#9077641*#. In the new menu scroll down and select storage settings, then select update java DB. This should sort the proble, it has worked for all the games i've tried so far.

no wifi for this phone is a huge disadvantage...should say it is a mistake on samsungs part

brill camera very clear pictures. can be a little slow somtime just turn off to reset works fine then. yes battery is a pain. maybe because of the gadgets. i find if i turn off the bluetooth when not in use last longer

i bought this cellphone last wik.. the camera is very great but the sounds is very poor.. and the batt is very very poor.. i used this cellphone for only 3 hrs. but before i bought this i saw in the net 350 hrs for standby,, but its only 3 hrs standby,, what u should i do? please answer.. tnx..

Had it for 43 days was a little sceptical before getting it after reading reviews This jhandset is basically caught between a mobile and a gizmo neither one or the other with a partial touch screen application but by pressing the d pad easy to exit back to main menu. Performance is not as bad as some write ups say odd occasion it may hang sligtly but in all very good The camera has to be its best feature in both camera / Video modes and in the dark no problems despite what other comments have been made I took an under the cover pic in bed on friday night lol no comments please and it came out with auto flash just great in very good detail. Only dissapoinment is no games installed and no memeory card in pack either I got my from Optus (AUS) It all takes a little getting used and alot of nice little features to discover in the text options etc Battery life yes a little dissapointing but can live with for a heavy user this would be a real pain The PC suite was a little slow to setup but once it is works great in both application installs and syncronization with contacts / diary / appoinments etc I would at this time rate the phone 7/10

this mobile costs 399€ and does not have WI-FI
how is it possible this mobile should be cost 200€
today's wi-fi is the most important feature and this and does not have this feature
