inocent owner of bad, 29 Aug 2009the bad phone i have seen ever everything bad like camera,... moreI disagree completely! I love this phone. Easy to navigate, easy to use, great photo quality, handy widget menu, good memory space, slide option = perfect.

well this phone aint bad
its quite hard to use at first but you get use to it
only downsides for me are the lack of wifi and the back cover being so bad for scratches phones should be at least designed to limmit the scratches

Hey Guys,
I am thinking of buying S8300 in the next couple of days. Does any user of S8300 have any SERIOUS complains regarding this phone? I am not talking about internet or battary issue. I read the manuals. I am talking about any delays or freeze.
I would like to have your comments on my above post,

ive had this phone for just over a month,very slow in everythink,for example 14 seconds to open a picture from the memory card?battery pathetic no wifi cough cough ultra yeah right waste of my money do not buy u ave been warned..

the design is a little old , normal screen size , nice colors , not so useful slide keyboard , good 8mp camera , old school software-menu , it lags a little , good sound , strong build , a little tricky button location , many unneeded pictures and sounds included ,camera bad in dark , weak battery , not so good flash , the screen loves to take your fingerprints any way its ok nothing special

Hey people,
I saw some of you said that the camera was poor. I disagree, the camera is great! The 8mp makes very sharp and nice pictures! So maby you should check your camera settings. You can instal a lot of things.

DLNA, 26 Aug 2009Just found out that the touch screen can be deactivated by ... moreyou don't need to do that. the sensor next to the 3g camera does that when you approach the phone to your ears, it locks the screen; when you take it away it unlocks it and the screen is active, when it's locked the screen is black. so, nothing to worry about during calls.

Just found out that the touch screen can be deactivated by pressing the hold key during a call to prevent accidental screen touch by the ears.

i've noticed a difference from the review. the fast motion is recorded in D1 resolution. they managed VGA. but that is correct, it was a pre-release sample so Samsung could have imporved the software before hitting the market. But anyway, excellent phone. To the guy that said the camera is bad: friend, I think you are confused, probably you've seen a different picture, this phone is a masterpiece in camera. I have a Sony DSC-T100 of 8mpx and trust me, sometimes the Samsung is even better than my digital camera. It's already better in video recording. So, check again! ;)

I work in a phone shop and the bottom line is that most customers I sell to, if they have a problem, they bring it back within a day or 2, NOT a week or 2. I guess there always are the exeptions..........
