KceeGee, 10 Jul 2009Hi Guys, Ive been eyeing samsung Innov8 as a replacement... morebattery is really bad,it won't last for 2days on normal use and yes it hangs alot.first time i bought this phone,i immediately experienced the hang problem so they replcae me with a new unit after a month of waiting and still occasionaly it still hang.on positive side,picture is excellent as well as video though audio quality is not good when taken in a very noisy environment.

emma, 01 Aug 2009when my phone is locked and i press any button, even the un... moreI questioned samsung about this and unfortunately the SOS feature is integrated into the phone. There is no way to deactivate or remove this feature from your mobile phone.

yes you can password protect ur pic music etc on this fone.. as for the loudness of the ringtone yes it can go to a very loud setting if needed"!

Hi can anybody tell me if this phone has the option to have your msgs, pics, etc password protected? As in when you press to go into the folder it comes up asking for a 4 digit passcode? Had a Samsung a while back that had this but not sure whether all Samsungs have the option? Thanks :o)

Got this phone about 3 month ago
all i can say is this phone is great!
+ really nice design
+ Superb material
+ anti scratch screen + body (except the batery cover)
+ very superb OLED display, i only set it to level 1, and that's really2x enough for me
+ many widgets
+ GPS
the bad are :
- no wifi :(
- batery..OemJe..only 2.5 days max without any activity..if i used it to browing, from 5 bar -> 1 bar only need 1 hour++ :(
really dissapointed about the batery..

Got this phone a week ago unlocked ... updated the firmware today, and it is so much faster and responsive, fixed quite a few bugs as well, sometimes with a new product like computers etc. you have to be patient in the first few months and allow the manufacturer to update the software ... good phone

i bought 1 week ago for my wife, since day 1, we face the same issue, u can hear the others, but they cannot hear u, and u have to restart the phone "What a shame".
Also, the battery, i removed it from the charger in the morning before we go to work, in the night, we have to charge it again "Shame on u Samsung".
Plus, lags in the menu, and the touch screen remind me with the first touch i hve used it in the past.
And the camera, the coulors not really WoW as the Samsung was saying in their advertisment, and it is slow.
No games, no applications, u have to pay for every single application.
My votes for this phone, 5/10.
I forgot, we pay $470 for this useless phone, and my wife doesnt want it anymore.
hehe, i was palnning to get Omnia ll, forget it Samsung, im not going even to read about your products anymore.

Had this phone for a month now. Camera and video and mp3 are the standout features. The disappointing part is the battery and the standard speakers on the headset. Samsung why dont you get rid of the pause before ringtones start to ring its annoying. Texting is a nightmare and access through the interface is slow. Minor improvements would have made this phone an excellent choice but alas there are actually better phones on the market than this one eg. LG Arena etc.

annonumus, 07 Aug 2009seems to be no way to download pics straight to computer. ... moreyou can either use New Samsung Studio which comes with the phone (back up contacts/copy movies/pics) or you can click and drag files/folders as per a normal usb stick. depends on your settings.
