To all who worried about wifi, Samsung won the hearts of all the guys who worried about non availability of wifi in this mobile.. cos they find the mobile is good in desighn and all other aspects except for the wifi. but to keep in mind, so far no one has given any complete review of the product except for a few who uttered about the functional disabilities. wifi is not a part of this model and if you are searching for wifi models go to next page rather sitting in this and telling no wifi with great expressions omg, oh, ah oh god, why :-)). come one guys samsung or no other mobile will give you complete phone co they are into business. All are great in IPhone, but for camera:-(, all are great in s8300 but for wifi, all are great in N79 but for design and memory. Look, you have to get compromised on one or the other coz that's how the company wants. If this s8300 has wifi, how do you expect samsung to do business with Omnia HD and other models to come by. Lets talk about the feature difficulties, and that is called a review poining out a non available fuction doesnt helps anyway. Apart from battery life (common with samsung and still they are in the business :-) )and few texting issues i couldnt find any major flaws in this model and the design is too sexy and iam going for that.
Any one has other opinions, u r welcome...

hey, i got this fon last week here in manila, Philippines. im wondering if anyone have tried to use the browser coz at the moment i can't use it. it always says connecting failed. i called my network provider (globe) and it gave me the access point for the connection but still its not working. can anyone from the Philippines help me with this? thanks :)

1 - you can have a phonebook of people shown by their pictures. so u can scroll through a seperate picture section, recgonise them by face and then call them
2 - very high screen resolution with an organic screen, that ultimately gives it an amazing finishing quality. when u turn the phone sideways as well it doesnt effect the screen quality either becuase of the high resolution and organic screen. really gives a big challenge to the iphone in terms of the screen quality.
3 - you can have ur camera pictures set so that whenever u take a picture, u can instantly set it up with your personal networking site including facebook and myspace. (samsung have a lot of other sites they are still speaking to, awaiting permission to put it up)
4 - you can have a "fake call" on your phone so u press a button and the your phone will begin to ring and will show on ur phone as a private number. then it continues to play a recording that u have set until u hang up. very good to get u out of the akward situations, whether u want to get away from your friends, or u feel ur being followed and want to scare someone away with a ringing phone.
...of course it has a lot of other features but these were a few that shown out

Learn how to spell, jackass. I played with one of these recently and I'm not really blown away by it. I have the Omnia right now and I think I'll stick with it.
It just feels...off. The amount of time it takes to do simple things like load the contacts, is a bit of a concern. Ever since my TYTN I've been looking for a phone that responds well and I still haven't found it.

mom just gave it to me yesterday for a graduation gift.. it's quite nice, very powerful camera.. i also like the fact that it has a keypad, other than the touchscreen for texting.. it's quite heavy but nonetheless very powerful.. i love it..

why is everyone moanin about the phone..at the end of the day some people expect more than expected from a phone..like all this tv stuff..ermm you buy a tv to watch it you dont buy a phone to watch tv...you're all expectin too much from technology and its neieve to be honest..i think the phone is wicked and i wouldnt say to anyone not to buy it..

Paul, 05 May 2009Has anyone really used the camera a lot What is resolution ... moreBought the S8300 three days ago. Photos taken are soft and inconsistent. My guess is the JPEG compression. The live view on-screen is superb but once reviewed, it just isn't able to hold its own. Coming from eleven Nokias, two Motorolas, one SE, one Philips and one HP-Ipaq, I am very disappointed with the photos but the video is acceptable with good colors. It's all boxed up now and returning it to the store on Monday.

dis phone is excellent and i almost got ready to buy the phone but at last found there is No Wi-Fi which is very bad for samsung. at this period where everybody is in to wireless, hope it must be taken in to high priority
