this phone is more of a camera phone it has advance features on camera..now if you really enjoy capturing pictures i recommend this one,the video quality is really nice, the design was slim and elegant..it has a one hand keypad for those who are having difficulty on touchscreen..the surface of s8300 is really nice bcoz of the scratch-free feature..i will not recommend this one as a business phone..better buy an OMNIA (i900) its the best..

most websites including this one state handset comes with voice dialling, this information is in fact incorrect. i have spoken to samsung technical support who have confirmed that this isnt advertised by them as the handset doesnt have the feature. i always use gsm arena as my first point of call for handset specs, however i am most displeased to find your information is incorrect and i now have a customer less then happy with the above handset as it was purchased for this sole purpose.... may i suggest that you update your specs in order to give accurate specification on this handset. carlsberg dont do third party mobile phone review websites.... if they did they would probably get their facts right!

It looks like a great phone when you check the specs, but it doesnt sound that good any more after reading your comments, i want to get this phone still, because of how sleek it is and the camera is great. But the only downside that i properly know of is that it doesnt have wi-fi and wi-fi will be the future. However, you can sidestep that problem by getting the phone on contract and getting a internet bundle. That costs an awful lot so i recommend that you wait a little while longer so that the price can come down, but compared to its rivals such as the Nokia N96,LG arena and the HTC touch diamond 2, its a bargain because the rest are rip -offs. I dont understand why the N95 is still selling for handset only 500 pounds at carphone warehouse. Im pretty sure it should of gone down somewhere along the 2 year period!

However, the regular menus and lists are pretty snappy. But what makes them easier to navigate is using the volume control to scroll up and down. You can also use the volume control to alter the size of text in text messages. (Not tried it with emails.)

I have had this phone for a couple of days now and it somewhat differs to the review by GSMArena, Firstly there is no route 66 maps pre-loaded onto the handset (nor google), secondly on the review they mention that there are 3 screens on whih you can add your widgets to and with on screen buttons to go between each (again there isnt) at least not on mine. The screen is touch screen but being a capacative screen hoped it would be more flowing through the menus, it could be down to the operating system that lets it down (its not Iphone smooth by any measure) I dont want to say any more until i have really used the phone for a while but thought i would post to compare to other users to see if they have the same experience? My phone is is from O2 and wonder if they have altered the programs etc or if other networks have released the phone with the same spec as mine.... ????

                                  @ Stacey

Have you tried pittung the MicroSD card into a USB card reader (as oppose to the adapter) to see if your PC recognises the card then?
Also, If the card is SDHC you will need the correct adapter or card to be able to read it (if not corrupt).

                                  Hope this helps

Therefore, there is no network of experts to answer our every whim. As soon as we try to be too clever with our non-smart phones, we're hozed. If this was the iPhone, there would be uproar and every newspaper, magazine and Mac fanboy website would be screaming in outrage. Alas, we're all alone. The room is cold, dark and lonely. But there is hope, Android is on the horizon...

yes they were definately saved on the memory card, i can still access the photos that were saved to the phone, just that it will not read the memory card at all(there was 1000s of music tracks and photos on it) and when I put the memory card into my laptop using an SD adaptor it no longer recognises that there is anything connected.
